Played here for the first time on 1/22 for $40 with cart at 9:50 am. Course is pretty decent for the rate we got. Greens are not that smooth yet but very fast had a hard time stopping the ball close to the hole. Fairways are ok, roughs are good too Sand traps have good sand in them Tee boxes are mostly beat up. But over all an enjoyable day to play. We will definitely play again probably this Sat

Played today 1-16. I once qutie playing this course because of the pace of play was terrible due to 5somes. When the new owners came along they advertised no more 5somes and a good pace. So i started back playing again about 7 monhs ago. But today, We had a 3 some behind a 6some!!!!!!! We contacted the proshop 3 times and they said the marshall was coming out. He did, he just waved at them and kept on going. This is a short course and usually plays in abouy 3 1/2 hours with a 3 some. It took almost 5 hours to play today. Absolutely unacceptable but they did not seem to care. It is a shame because this can be a fun course to play

I played today for a "discount" rate of $40 with 6 of my friends. I was mightily disappointed with the pro shop's inaccurate description of the golf course's condition. I was told that the greens were going to be punched with small tines on the 25th & 26th, and as such, the greens were going to be pretty much healed by the weekend.

The greens today were the most disgusting set that I've ever played. Some of the greens weren't sanded properly so that you had hundreds of large-sized holes and no sand to have a decent line to the cup.

I'm glad that my larger group wasn't able to make it out to UHCC today. I'll never consider taking them here unless it's for a significantly cheaper group rate. The other courses in the area offer more than this course.

Played Saturday 10/09 at 11:00, $40 GolfNow rate. Course had nice practice greens and chipping area to warm up, but no range that I could see. Starter was friendly and got us out a little early, but the round still lasted ~5 hours. I was very happy with the course conditions. Like the previous reviewer stated, some of the tee boxes are pretty beat up...but the rest of the course makes up for it, especially the greens. They were very fast, held shots really well and broke away from the mountains just as advertised. Not many unfixed ball marks. Fairways were lush for the most part, as was the rough, with only a few bare patches. Rough was thick and penal, and if you find the treeline off the fairways here, consider yourself in jail. Bunkers were surprising, they had many loose rocks in them but the sand was quite soft and explosion shots were no problem. Not the longest track, but tight enough to really make you think on some holes. Saw beverage cart three times, and there were a few water stations out there as well. They are punching the greens next week, but I will definitely be back for another round after they heal. Great value, great course!

Played on 06/25/2010 mid-morning. Helpful staff and expanding pro shop. New golf carts. Several tee boxes under repair...they needed it! Greens in better than fair shape. Interesting pin positions. Tighter cut on greens means more break (away from the mountains...Doh!) They are in the process of clearing fallen and dead trees. They are really trying to get this course back into great shape. Keep up the good work. Nice tight course to get your iron and short game back on track. Bring a water bottle because when it gets hot the water stations are few and far between.

Played afternoon Memorial Day. No one was out and the fee ($25) was good for a holiday. This course has seen better days though. It seems as though they may be short on funds, as the scorecards now are one-sided, black & white. But it was still in OK shape. Fairways were thin, greens were kinda bumpy in spots, the tee boxes were a little banged up, sand in decent condition. As always, with this ~5902 yard course, you will score if you stay in the fairway. It's an enjoyable shot-makers track, so I hope they put a little more effort into maintaining it, because, for now, there are better courses around for similar cost.

Played here 10/6 for the first time in years and found it to be in excellent shape and fun to play. The greens seemed impossible to read. No putts went where you aimed. The sand was deep and heavy and the course was wet early in the morning. Lots of trees on every hole and water that was not always in view. The course is only 5902 from the blues but was still a challange for us old duffers and the price was right.

Played this course for the first time a couple of days ago. Hugely impressed. Great quality course and very polite and friendly staff. The fairways are a bit narrow, but it makes you focus on keeping your shots straight. This course feels huge as it winds through various neighborhoods. I plan to play this course again very soon. Loved it.
