Played here on Saturday, 2/27, with a Facebook group outing. There was over 80 of us, I believe, and the course did a great job handling the volume. No shotgun, had regular teetimes from 8am-11am. POP was pretty slow, as to be expected with all the festivities going on, it was overall about 5hrs. But we had fun, nonetheless. Enjoyed everyone's company and had a lot of good laughs.


The course conditions continue to struggle here. Teeboxes were just fine, not many complaints on these, they were fairly level with adequate coverage. I found one sand trap and it was in decent shape, actually. Nice sand and definitely the highlight of conditions on the course. Fairways continue to be autrocious. We played winter rules and for good reason. They are struggling with these fairways. Very barren and patchy grass. Rough was not much of an issue, continues the patchy grass theme and not long at all. The greens putted OK, fairly smooth and quick. However, they wouldn't hold a shot to save your life. Expect at least 5-10 yds of roll, even with short irons. I don't remember seeing any ballmarks, they're rock hard. Customer service was excellent. Beverage cart was around twice, nice hotdog at the turn, check in was easy. $35 to walk on a Saturday isn't too bad, but I'm going to stay away for quite awhile, it's a shame, because there's some neat holes on this mature tree-lined course. It has a pretty good layout with lots of water and some OB. I don't use driving ranges, but it looked fairly beat up and the larger practice green is for chipping, there's a small practice green for putting and it's pretty useless with severe slopes, not super indicative of the course.
