Played Tecolote 12/28. Walked up and got out right away for $20 walking. Played as twosome, pace of play not that great, but still finished in 3.0 hrs. I love this course. The greens are in best shape I have seen them in a while, rolling true and fast. Tee boxes were really bad, hard to find anywhere to place a tee or ball between markers. I think this course is great for all levels, please play here if you are new to game instead of going to another course, you wont be disappointed. Alot of hackers and drinkers here, beware!

This is a challenging executive course with 4 par 4s for good drivers. Located within the walls of Tecolote Canyon so breezes tend to fluctuate. Fairways are narrow and tree lined. Banana shots need lots of room and can be played with success. Greens are undulating and quite challenging. Pin location and ball placement are key factors. Although considered hilly, the course is easily walkable for the average player. Twilight play tends to cause backup of people trying to finish before dark. My twosome finished in 3:05 with very little delay on a cool, cloudy, uninviting day. It is an out and back venue, so holes 9, 10, & 11 are furthest out. Lost ball potential ~ 3-4 for casual players. Generally speaking, it is managed by American Golf Corp and deserves at least 4 1/2*'s

Great little course. Narrow holes and nice greens make for a perfect place to work on your short and long iron shots. A few holes for a 3 wood or driver, but I would suggest leaving your driver in the trunk. Played 18 holes in 3 hours and 15 minutes on a sunny Saturday morning. Great place for a quick round after work.
