Tee Time-Saturday 4/6 7:45am
Green Fee-$69... Worth it for sure
Tees- Tips
Weather- Foggy but warm... no wind
Pros- This course was almost perfect today. Greens rolled great, probably around 10.5 or so on the scale. Fairways were very lush and the course has greened out a ton since I last played. Rough was fairly sticky but was totally playable. Staff is friendly and pace of play was 3.5 hours.
Cons- Could use another 1/2 inch in the only bunker I was in... Pretty nit-picky if you ask me.
Overall- Love it... its a long drive, but worth a play this time of year and will play 4 times a year.

Tee Time- 8:40 & 1:30 3/29
Green Fee- $43 and $20... This is the best deal I have ever had to play golf in my entire life... and I am not kidding... unless someone else has paid for it
Tees- Tips
Weather- Perfect
Pros- Course is downright perfect. If this course were an hour closer to home, the starter would know my birthday, social, etc by heart. This course is in amazing shape. The greens are smooth, fast, and really don't have too many divots. The fairways are smooth and roll well. The bunkers are clayish, which is simply a tough shot, not a downside. The tees are all good except number 3 which needs leveling.
Cons-.... None
Overall- I am playing in the US Open Qual here so I played 2 times, early morning and afternoon to see the wind under both conditions... I enjoyed it thoroughly. Qual is going to be a beast and I can't wait.
Final Note- Go play and support this place. Rumors were flying on the site that they were going to close it in Oct(not true)... Regardless, this course is for sale and if it dissappears it will be a true gem lost. Go support this place, get your friends together, and make a day out of it... you wont regret it

Green Fee- $50 worth every penny

Weather- Rain for 9, Clearer skies for 9... chilly, breezy
Pros- This might be the best I have ever seen Rustic. The greens rolled perfect, smooth, and very fast even with the rain. The fairways are really greening out and I enjoyed the layout as always. This course is really love hate for me and today I loved it(played well). Collars are super smooth and the bang for buck is off the charts!
Cons- I hate the rivet rough. The thick grass, bare spot, thick grass. It is part of the challenge but its tough. I was dissappointed with the weather... that is about it. WILL RUSTIC PLEASE RE-EVALUTATE THEIR SLOPE AND COURSE RATING PLEASE!!!!
Overall- 12 times a year I play here, this was a great experience

Green Fee- $80... Not worth it
Tees- Tips
Weather-Perfect
Pros- The course is lush as can be. Gorgeous weather, gorgeous views, awesome layout. I have loved this course for a long time and the Creekside/Ridgeline is my least favorite combo but it still ranks high for me.
Cons- I just can't wrap $80 out on this course too often. I love it, but the greens were super slow and bumpy. It is amazing how everything except the greens are perfect and I just don't ever find the greens fast here. I enjoy it a ton, but the money is a tough shell out for the course.
Overall- I will play here 6 times a year, hopefully at a discount, and hopefully with better greens.

Tees: Tips
Green Fee- $40
Weather- Breezy, 65
Pros- Greens were perfect. Rolling true, probably a 10. Ball held alright with some spin. Rough and fairways were mostly lush but firm, rolling out plenty.
Cons- Fairway divots, lots of them in common landing areas. Sand was inconsistent. Tee boxes were a bit unlevel in some areas.
Overall- Good track, my home course, I play it too often. Shot 70, which is nice.

Tee Time- Monday, 2/11 1:30
Green Fee- 60$... maybe worth it
Weather- Chilly, windy
Tees- Tips
Pros- Greens were rolling really nice. Tough to look in some places but all really rolled well... Very fast greens, probably a 11+ on stimp. Layout is interesting, fun, challenging. Bunkers are full of sand. Service was ok.
Cons- Everything else. Fairways are thin, dormant, rolling a ton. I hit into a group in front of us from 360 yds away. Rough is non-existant.
Overall- 2 times a year played, that about is all I will go.

Tee Time- Sunday 2/10 9:30 am
Rate- $59
Weather- Sunny, Chilly, Breezy
Tees- Tips
Pros- Course is a nice layout. Always enjoy getting up here 2 or 3 times a year. Fairways are dormant and running out, but lies are ok. Greens are servicable but not amazing. Chairs are nice
Cons- Course is simply run down overall. This course continues to need maturation of hazards. It needs a roller on the greens and it needs some general tlc. Course is always good but just is a little blah right now.
Overall, I will play here 3 times a year.

Northern Trust PreQualifier
Tee Time- Wednesday 2/7 8:55 am
Weather- Overcast but warm, turned to sun and breezy
Green Fee- Unknown, I was playing the qualifier for the NT, I think it was 65$
Pros- Course is immaculate right now. I have played it a few times over the last month and have refrained from posting because I knew I would post after the event. Fairways have some bare spots from the frost but overall, course is just a great test of golf. Greens were rolling a 12 and they had no pitch marks. Course was close to perfect.
Cons- None
Overall- Shot 76 in the event. Not earthshattering but respectable. Anyways, love the course, always coming back

Tee Time- 11:30 Saturday, January 12th
Weather- Breezy, Sunny, Chilly, 55 degrees
Tees- Tips
Pros- Greens are always a treat here. Ball rolls here like a pool table. This course is known for what they can get those greens rolling on the STIMP and that hasn't changed. Layout is straightforward and thought provoking.
Cons- Winter conditions on everything else. Fairways were tighter and drier than normal. Few bare spots. Been really cold here some days. Bunkers were a bit wind blown too.
Overall- This is about as bad shape as the course will be in, mostly due to bad weather. That being said, I would play here today or any day

Weather- 60 degrees, sun
Pros Everything. This golf course is hosting a tour event, Waste Management, in a month. Conditions are d%mn near perfect. Greens a little Slow but this was not a problem, not a con to report. Stadium for 16 up was amazing.
Overall- Replay all day

Tees- Tips, 7300.... a bear
Green Fee- 128... then 25 on the replay... What a deal!
Pros- Everything. This golf course is almost perfect. Some wet sand is about the only downside. Course has character and the layout is gorgeous. I would recommend anyone who wants to leave a course happy, all about their game aside, play Barona.
Cons- None
Overall- I would play here every weekend if it weren't 2:30 hours away

Tee Time- Sunday November 18th, 745 am
Green Fee- $80... worth it
Weather- Awesome, dewey morning, dry breezy fall day midday
Tees- tips
Pros- Great layout. Both nines are a unique test of golf. Fair but tough. Fairways were a bit furry from overseeding but overall really nice. Lush rough and greens that are rolling true.
Cons- Greens a bit slow... i am being picky... Traps need new sand. POP was slow and teed off 10 minutes late.
Overall, great course, will go back
