Overall nice experience under hot sun.Very well maintained course which shows you constant improvement at course including layout ( I noticed some additions of bunkers than last time I visited).Definitely to come back to play at any time.

Played 7/21/07 at noon as a tournament group member after + 2 years last time played here.Actually maintaining very good conditions tee to greens .Especially greens slope & speed is very interesting fact that you can easily loose your score.And don't get fooled 6200 yards from back tee,there's many doglegs ,ob stakes,elevated greens & branches of strategically located trees defend well the course.Accurate distance shot & appropriate selection of clubs(up & down hills) is must to score well.

Played 7/15/07 sunday afternoon for the 1st time.
Always ocean line cities are more cooler than others with cool breeze & air to enjoy good round of golf.From the entrance start with valet service till finish the round your car is right there waiting you to leave.All staff courteous & helpful.Only thing negative is driving range is just cage.Almost everything in very good conditions with signature holes .

Played 7/7/07 (triple 7) for the 1st time.Never occured to my mind to reserve tee time here ,you know? This time one buddy invited to join their group of single digit players I accepted to experience the course & to get the logo ball. Reserved at 11;40 but teed off 12;15 waiting after 3 groups ahead and wait,wait,wait to each shot to finish the round about more than 6 hours.Really typycal municipal,flat walkable ,cheap & short(little bit more than 6300yards) course to try your best score of your golf life (I was almost).If you hit straight & long you can bet. No major obstacles present here & some ponds really not into play (just landscape proposal) & slow greens without slope makes easy round if you concentrate to score well. All these vulgar things are forgiven by cool temperature & breeze of this course cause of near ocean location .Imagine if you have to support 6 hours under the sun of +90 degrees,uhhh!
I'll gonna play again to break my record score here.

Relatively better interesting layout with some elevation changes & better conditions than brother course,oak glenn.
Played sunday july 1st morning as a tournament group .
Fairly conditioned allover but not as rated as Great of nearly 8 points,I think is overrated. Especially greens speed is barely medium/slow even down hill lies did not rolled as everybody expected surprisingly.Rememberable holes are #4 par 4 downhill with water ponds & #12 par 3 pretty scenic view.
Maybe very hot weather (+90 degrees)bothered me to judge the course.Next time sera.

Played for the very 1st time weekend of 6/30/07 afternoon.
With great expectation having lots of advertisement from many different golf magazines about Sycuan Resort but not reached the level I expected.
The layout is common & regular nothing spectacular with few interesting holes(only rememberable is #5 as I uploaded the picture).Every conditions are at average & fair.
Greens speed medium/slow & little bit hard if more press of grass gonna speed up the roll .#5 's green I encountered barespots but big.
Lack of signs to follow the holes is one issue too.

Played sat.6-23-07 afternoon after +1year last time played here.
Always quite tranquille & relaxing course with lots of high position view playing with water ,creek & trees.
Superior quality of GPS & good pace of play & right on tee off time ( even earlier).
Everything in good shape except green speed was little bit slow than we expected.
Rack rate of more than $100.00 seems little bit expensive.

Played saturday june-9-07 morning for the very first time but I could say BINGO!!!!
I always wanted to experience this course after opened to the public golfers but system of no take reservation (1st come,1st play) gave me uncertain security to get tee time without knowing how long you have to wait to tee off so finally I headed to other course with tee time reserved.
It's one of nearer course from my home & 1st impression of very nice clubhouse receiving people & pretty quiet & tranquille ambient than I expected.
Wonderful landscape everywhere like flower gardens,lakes with ducks even you can see strawberry farm & runways for F-16(am I lying?) too. Tee boxes generally in good shape.
Fairways better conditions.
Greens clean & well maintained but speed is slow although looks big undulated lie.
We saw 2 marshalls or staffs always working & moving.
One constantly refilling seedsands into divots & other one reached to my playing partner the wallet dropped from his golf bag that he did not know.We really surprised & appreciated .
Location near beach add fresh breeze into your face.
If they start to receive the phone reservation I would do this my home course to play more a lot.

PLAYED SUNDAY JUNE ,3rd MORNING ONLY 15HOLES AT $43.00 CAUSE OLD COLLECTABLE CARS INVADED HOLES 9,10 & 18.
I CAN'T UNDERSTAND HOW COULD BORROW THE FAIRWAYS TO CAR EXHIBITION ANYWAY,THE COURSE CONDITIONS ARE EXCELENT FROM TEE BOXES TO GREENS AND ESPECIALLY PACE OF PLAY.

Reserved saturday at 1;30 p.m. teed off after 2;00 as usual, when starter call you ,with cart going to 1st tee box you see 3 groups of 4-5 somes in line to start the game.
After aeration greens are healed well offering true lie & considerable good medium-fast speed holding well balls good executed.
Also fairways in good shapes well grown turf hard to find bare spots.
$40.00 weekend green fee you can't complain about how noisy is this course.

Played saturday 4/21/07 as a member of tournament.
Now greens healed completely from aeration only need to mow & press to get more speed,and pretty soft to receive & hold well the short - middle iron shots.
Fairways enough lush ,no complain to do.
The major notorious thing here is pace of play improved a lot .
I hitted so many times the poor trees ,you know one of that bad luck day, but nice day.Enjoy yourself !!

First time played 4/14/07 saturday at noon.
Typical muni course but same time not so typical.
Surrounded by avenues ,view of passing cars some even honking,ambulance & fire truck's siren & very close to school ,hospital & park very active makes you feel playing golf in the middle of the city.Absolutely you can not feel quiet or tranquil cause of multitude everywhere from entrance,parking lot,range,& field. Of course pace of play as you expect,,,,,slow.
But overall field conditions maintained very well from tee to greens. For $40.00 weekend fee you can't complain even snack shop's price(hot dog,drink etc) was very acceptable.
