Played 3/30/07 sat.noon.Was 1or 2years been played here.
Starter gave us Canyon crest & Ridgrline to play but as I was informed that Canyon was aerated we asked to switch creekside .But starter said aerated 2 weeks ago now roll pretty well we said o.k.
This season of aeration I think green fee must be reduced cause when you get to green seeing bunch of holes & sands loosing interesting roll of putting (just hit as you can to hole) golfer loose 30-40% of pleasure of golfrounding. When we got at back 9(ridgeline) not yet aerated totally diferent greens we met.
Well pressed ,medium-fast speed, good rolling but hard.
Except distance from my place definitely wonderful track to come back when opportunity given.

Played sat.noon 3/24/07 after long time here.I think yellow/brown dead turf season has ended .Good green spring color everywhere.Paying $40 for weekend golf no other same category courses could compare with this.Talking about only layout M.M. compete easily with courses of $60-80 green fee.Lots of elevation changes, variable doglegs, strategical tree position & some water & natural hazards form a good 18 holes of golf course.Greens awaiting aeration like others little bit shaggy & bumpy but rolling true medium speed.Fairways in decent conditions, tee boxes moderately beated up but playable (don't forget this is $40 course with big qty of rounds.)
Today rarely we teed off in time and even pace of play was very good, these 2 things almost never happen here.
But of course I found 1 bad intolerable thing ;pomona raceway...
Race track & golf course just across the street absolutely not match. They were having some motocycle show there with tremendous noise of bike & music .
Exept that very nice track.

Played 3/18/07 sunday at 1;00 p.m. Of course I did not reserved tee time just a friend of my friend gave him cause his group simply couldn't assist to golf course. We totally appereciated.
Paying just $40 to enjoy golf with nice view, where? only here,LOS VEREDES GOLF COURSE.
Was cloudy & humid day blocking the general view to ocean but today's great surprise was pace of play.Normally weekend's time take more than 5 1/2 even +6hours without exaggeration. But today we finished only 4 hours 45min.Incredible but true.
Tee boxes & faiways lush green offering generally good lie to hit but little bit wet & greens are shaagy but still with tendency of ocean break.
Was really perfect day.

Played saturday 3/17/07 as a tournament member. Each time I play here lately I note general quality of course conditions getting better.Far from their golden era was 3-4 years ago when they had surprising greens with good rolling, fast speed with some mountain breaks but after passing worst conditions now is O.K.
Last time I mentioned hole #4 changed to par 5 now with remodeled tee box already done converted interesting layout. All fairways lush green & tee boxes very acceptable.
Always best #18 hole to finish the round.

Played sat.3/3/07 afternoon.Personally I have not played for month cause of waist pain but still with little painful I could not wait 1 more week , so ..........
Pretty good acceptable conditions overall. The major change of layout is they are switching hole #4 par 4 to par 5 & hole #5 was par 5 to changing par 4.
All fairways got nice green color lush turf.
All tee boxes too but some divot damages.
Greens are especially comimg back to normal conditions cause lately had really bad mood but now speed was good & smooth.
Especially # 13's was disastrous with barespots but now is pretty good .
I think for this summer gonna be much better.

Played 2/4/07 sunday early morning.Decided just 1 day before to play & reserved sunday prime tee time at saturday referenced by great rate of 7.49point of GK.
I really do not understand whoever rated this course as great condition of +7 point is one of local player just compared 1 or 2 courses worse than this.
Absolutely not worth 1hour & 10min of drive & $69 of greenfee.
Maybe could affect to my judgement after playing Robinson Ranch is really nearly perfect condition but this course can not compare.
Fairways all dormant yellow/brown I could say almost dead hard pan.
Greens are hard allowing big bounce not receiving well.
Maybe summer condition could be better cause original layout is very good.
I'll wait for next time.

Played sunday 1;00p.m. as 4 some. With prognostic of rain we got there worried but just cloudy good for golfing. When people say "HIGH END GOLF COURSE" we must refer ROBINSON RANCH GC without doubt. Commonly we think + $100.00 green fee enter to this category but not every expensive golf course got the conditions that RRGC got right now. Almost perfect condition !!! From the beggining originally we reserved valley course but I asked to less busy course at check in at pro shop ,they switched to mountain course to start at 10th tee. When we followed the starter when we saw the group ahead the starter went to see if valley was clean and came back to ask if we don't mind to play at valley is now wide open ,we said yes and finished 4hours 5minutes.Very professional & attentive part of starter.
Maintaining lush ,green, manicured fairways at this winter season is really hard to find out. From tee boxes to greens of every holes are excellent shape that really sorry to make a divot after shot. Only rough part grass are dormant yellow.
1 day before I played at green river golf course ,particuraly brought to my mind BLACK SABBATH'S SONG titled 'HEAVEN & HELL'
The best golf course of SOCAL ,no doubt......

Played 1/20/07 sat.as a member of tournament.I noticed worse or less conditions than 3 weeks ago I think due to frozen weather we past last week. Greens are harder bouncing the ball & speed was slower.Especially #16th green converted to duck's nest with bare spots and covered with excrements .You got to putt to skip between poopoo not to the hole, funny huh!
Blue tees most shortened than usual .
Here the cart girl is so diligent we saw her about 5 times.
I wonder what will happen if play all back tees(black) 7000yards with this kind of layout. Someday I'll try !!!!!!!

Played 1/14/07 sunday morning after 2 & half years.
The big surprise was pace of play that I remember always at this course you had to wait & wait to each shot but now we finished less than 5 hours.Maybe increased steeper green fee or just cold weather of that day was icy all over the place(greens, fairways ,cart path even water for towel at 1st tee box).Until 9;30 we played with frozen greens that we could not stop the ball with wedges nor putters. But when came back to normal conditions was very pleasant & realized their good conditions generally.

WOW!!!!!!!!! is the word one could describe this course.
Played 1/3/07 at the morning as 2 some joined with other 2 some.Parking pick up driver guy said we are lucky with weather cause past 2 days they had pretty heavy winds. Of course this course's major attraction is surrouding ambient & views. The other 2 guys played with us said first time to play here and did not stop to saying nice ,good, beatiful but each time we reached greens we all horrified & prepared to do 3-4 putts.Severe slope & big tiers you rarely can stop the ball.If you have uphill lie to putt ,if you did not past the top high of tier the ball rolling back down leaving more distance than you originally putted. As you seen on TV about pga tour or golfchannel.
Definitely challenging & interesting golf course.

I seem to do only person leave feedback about this course cause last 3 feedback are mine.
Played 1/2/07 at dawn without teetime reserved arrived at 6;00 before they open proshop but still on waiting list teed off 3rd group. First official tee time was 6;45 as they told us but many single player & 2 somes waiting & some starting back 9.
First round of 2007 & as I mentioned before totally enjoyable round with excellent conditions for money.Long time I didn't playing the dawn golf with morning dew but very refreshing feeling that I forgotten during these time.
overall this course being gem if you do not encounter wiyh slow pace of play.
