Early out early finish. Out before the big LAPD tournament. Course is in good shape. Greens are the best I have see them all year (no divots wow). Chipped/putted just great all round. Fairways have good coverage and good lies, with roll, but thin areas outside of the fairways. Rough was all cut down and no issue. Of course the traps are still the same (oh well). Tee boxes were all clean and playable. Customer service excellent as usual. Still the best twilight offer at 10:30 every day.

Out early, done early. Course is still in decent condition. Found no tee box issues. Fairways are green, with some brown areas beginning to show, but provided good lies and good roll out. Rough was extremely tall and thick throughout the course. Greens were in good condition and chipped/putted very nicely. We never mention the traps here. Customer service is always exceptional at this course. Still the best twilight value (starts at 10:30) in the LA area. And they are now going to team up with Golf Now.

Played early this morning. POP was fast, as rain overnight kept many away. Course is in excellent shape at the moment. Tee boxes are fine. Fairways are green, good lies and decent roll. Traps (stay out of them). Rough was 1/2" around greens and outside fairways, but playable. Greens are very good, IMO. They have full coverage, minus divots and chip/putt very well (IMO the best I have seen them). Excellent customer service as always. Still the best early twilight (10:30 AM) in LA County.

Personally, I think the City of Montebello is missing a great opportunity to "upgrade" some of the conditions (like traps) on this course? But I guess it gets enough play that they don't really care? Customer service is excellent at all levels.

Played early this AM in 2.5 H. Course is in nice shape at the moment. Tee boxes all fine. Fairways have good coverage, lies and roll. Bunkers (just putt out of them) are still the same, so avoid at all costs. Rough is not a factor. Greens are in good shape and chip/putt and hold shots very well. Customer service excellent at all levels. Presently from what I have seen in the area, they have the best twilight (starting at 10:30) rates (weekdays/weekends) than any course in the area.

Played today in 3 H. Course is in decent shape. Still not a lot of roll in the fairways, but great lies, due too plenty of good grass. # 15 is still CPO and will take some time to dry out, gets very little sun and is an uphill fairway. Tee boxes are all fine. Rough has been cut and no issues. Greens are in very nice shape. Chip/putt well with good speed and hold shots. Great customer service at all levels. They also lost several trees around the 13th and 14th holes from the storm, but they don't effect play. And of course, no change in the bunker conditions (maybe someday).

Was able to get out today and POP was 3.5 H. Very cold when we started but sun came out, warmed it up and dried it out. Course came through the recent rains in very good condition. No issues today with tee boxes. Fairways were still damp in some areas, no real roll, but decent lies. Rough was up (not mowed) and caused issues. We of course do not talk about the traps (LOL) and avoid at all costs. Greens were nice (as they had been cut) and provided good roll, chipping and putting all round. Customer service here, is the best of any golf course in the area, hands down. Even saw Fernando Valenzuela and friends teeing it up this AM.

Quick 2.5 H round this AM. Course was not overly wet, but enough to limit roll in fairways. But the rain has greened up the course nicely and had great lies all round. Rough is up due to not being cut, so it is difficult. Tee boxes were all fine. No comments on sand traps, as they are what they are, until they get more sand ( ????). Greens putted just great all round. Customer service excellent at all levels.

Played the twilight rate @ 10:30. Breezed around in 2.5 H. Course is recovering from the recent rains. Tee boxes were all fine. Fairways seem to be still damp (not all), so some will give good roll out, others will not. But lies are better on all, after the rains. Sand traps (no comment just see previous reviews as no changes). Greens were soft, so held shots, very little release, but putted well, but slow. Rough has been cut and no issues. Customer service was excellent at all levels.
