Very beautiful course, but no grass in the fairways. Greens are quick.
Played for $50 on a Friday afternoon which I thought was OK for such a pretty course. The sand is a little hard, used a pitching wedge vs. sand wedge. I would go back, when their is grass in the fairways. Nice club house as well. A Troon facility.

The more I play this course, the more I enjoy and appreciate it, which makes it sad to say that the course is in the worst condition I've seen it in! I understand that it's winter, but some the neglect goes way beyond the weather conditions. There seems to be just a general absence of "TLC". With all the new courses in the area (Trilogy, Hidden Valley, Dos Lagos, Goose Creek, etc) they better get their act togather.

we played eagle glen today and the sandtraps were way hard. the course is in good shape and the green's were awesome.this is a picturesque and quite golf course for the most part. all in all a great day. i scored the highest not the best that i have in two years and still had a great day . Golf is not ETERNAL.

I played this course on 1/7. Green fee was $55 with GolfQ.com coupon. It has nice layout. However, fairways were sub par and sand traps were hard. I would not pay $105, but for $55, I will play again... Continue »

Everything about Eagle Glen was nice, including the clubhouse, except the horrible conditions of the fairways. The scenic views throughout the entire course is pleasant to the eye, greens run smooth, the pace of the round is good, but the fairways need some serious repairing and treatment. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this course.

I played there in December with some members and we all were extremely disapointed. The sand traps either had water/mud or were like concrete. The fairways were mostly bogs of dead/ dormant grass that for some reason the continued to overwater -even while we playing! Most areas around the greens were also mud or standing water - and it was in the high 70s out. They have a great lay out but definitly need to hire someone who knows how to maintain a course.

Played Eagle Glen on Friday, 12/30/05. Great golf course. The layout was awesome. Only complaint was we didn't see the cart girl until the 11th hole. You don't pass the clubhouse at the turn so I suggest you stock up on the necessities before your round. Other than that I will definitely be back.

Played Eagle Glen on 12/3/2005. I had high expectations from the recommendations of a few of my friends which may be why I was so disappointed. The fairways were is good condition however the tee boxes, greens, and bunkers were in bad shape. I think they may have just sanded the green which made putting a nightmare. You could get a good read on how fast the greens were because of it. Some were slow other were very fast. I thought the greens were bad, but the bunkers were worse. Hitting out of them felt like you were making contact with concrete. It was impossible for your wedge to dig into the sand. I could have taken an axe to the sand, and probably not be able to get more than 2 inches deep before I hit bottom. Finally a majority of the tee boxes were setup on uneven ground where you would either have you ball above or below your feet. It also looked like the markers haven't been moved for weeks considering it looked like bunker busters were dropped on the tee boxes from the divots there and lack of grass to tee off from. Overall this course is currently not worth the price. I was very disappointed.
