Not sure where X from Whitier plays normally but I played on the 10th and the greens were still bad, 3 on a scale of 10. His home course must be really bad if he thinks these greens are good.

I PLAYED THIS COURSE IN 2001 ON THE SECOND WEEK IT OPENED. BEEN BACK ABOUT 11 SINCE THEN. I THOUGHT THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE. YES THE GREENS ARE SLOW AND FLUFFY. I PLAYED LIKE CRAP AND SHOT A 77.

I ran a small tournament here on 2-24 and had some mixed feelings on the day. First, the staff was exceptional as always....Scott the GM has done a great job in providing first rate service. Next the course, I found it to be in pretty good shape, although there were some thin spots in some fairways. The greens, only one word can describe them....TERRIBLE!! I understand that we have had some bad weather this year that has affected the conditions of golf courses...but it seems their superintendent has failed in maintaing these greens. Fuzzy, bumpy and very inconsistent rolls on every hole. For a "who cares day of golf"...they would still be bad, but for tournament golf, it was miserable. I wish I would have checked with GK before I booked ours...lesson learned.

The Glen Ivy's Trilogy had the worst greens I have ever played on. I have played on aerated or sanded greens that rolled smoother. Every green the ball bounced and changed directions.

Played 1/24/07. The greens were the worst I have seen. Very bumpy and light sanding slowed the ball down. Hope it gets better.

Greens are dying and they look like small moon craters all over. Not worth the money it used to be. Not sure what is going on but let's hope they get it fixed or so long Trilogy.

I too can echo the fact that Trilogy Glen Ivy has a big problem on the front nine with the greens. Putting is a pure guessing game with mis-matched patches and bare spots. The back nine is not so mu... Continue »

I too can echo the fact that Trilogy Glen Ivy has a big problem on the front nine with the greens. Putting is a pure guessing game with mis-matched patches and bare spots. The back nine is not so much affected. I cannot determine how long it will take to fix this problem, not a greens superintendent, but this will not be handled in a week. Too bad, because I love the layout of this course.
