This course is nice in the spring and deteriorates as the summer gets hotter. Great mens club however.

Conditions were horrible and unfortunately do not seem to be improviing. Just a few feet off the fairway = mudd. Greens were very slow but the biggest problem is lack of maintenance. Unfortunate as it is an interesting layout.

This course has a nice layout, but definitely a 'muni' feel. This is reflected in the conditions of the course from tee box to green.

It started off we the rudest person behind the front desk, I've ever spoken with. Greens are extremely hard to read and for a mid day price of $46 was just no fun. Was not impressed whatsoever. . Very disappointed to say the least.

Anyone who would say this is the best course in the East Bay needs to get out a little more. The place is a borderline dump. The greens are always beat up, the fairways have bare spots. Seems impossible to get on here at times even at off peak hours. Absolute last resort course for the money especially when you can play Roddy Ranch for less money! As far as muni's go, Diablo Creek is a much better value and the greens are in much better shape!

Easily best course in the East Bay. Great piece of real estate. The staff at the front desk is the best in the business, very knowledgeable and very helpful. The teaching staff is also top notch. Four Stars!

They guy at the front counter was the most terrible person I have ever dealt with on a course. Such a JERK!!

For the course, it was okay. Greens always slope to downtown WC. Payed $54 for a $30 (at most) course. I will never play there again.

I played boundary oaks yesterday and I have to say. The upkeep of the fairways was lacking! The fairways look and felt and played like the rough. I hit numerous long drives strait and couldn't find my ball (but i found a few other balls that people must have gave up on aswell)...
Either it was buried in the grass or stuck in a 2 inch divot. Made for frustrating golf. The greens looked nice but played rough. Very bouncy and unexpected left or right KICKS on putts. I understand that it has been raining alot and they probaly can't mow when it's really wet. They should either tell you or better yet give a price discount for the conditions (I paid 26 to walk) $16 would've been better... Call before you go.

One of the best values in the Bay Area; although can be difficult to get a morning tee time if you're not a Walnut Creek resident.
