Rode the Blacks (3475/57.1/92) as a single in less than 2H twilight on a GN "Hot Deal". The weather was sunny and breezy around 95. Ted Robinson design. Par 60, six short par 4's and ten par 3's. The par 3's range from 105 to 175 and provide different looks. The six short par 4's were a good mix of risk/reward with lakes or OB close by if you went for them and missed. All holes are closely surrounded by condos/townhouses. Water on all 18 holes hi-lite this fun executive course layout. The tees were lush but many were fairly chewed up. Both the fairways and rough were immaculately maintained. The sand traps were well maintained with nice, fluffy sand but several had sprinkler runoff issues. The small greens putted excellent. Smooth, medium fast and firm. No tiers, but many have a decent amount of slope on them. If you miss one of these tiny greens, good chance there will be little green to work with no matter which side you missed on. The customer service was limited but good. Prepaid online, quick efficient check-in, no drink cart. No GPS on basic carts. Very good executive course, definitely recommended.

Rode the Blacks (3475/57.1/92) with Gil, John and Sue in 3H, 10M twilight on a GN "Hot Deal". The weather was partly cloudy and calm around 70.

Water on all 18 holes hi-lite this fun executive course design. Par 60, six short par 4's and ten par 3's. The course was in near immaculate condition for the most part.

The tees were lush but many were fairly chewed up.

Both the fairways and rough were immaculately maintained.

The sand traps were well maintained with nice, fluffy sand.

The greens were excellent. Smooth, medium fast and firm. No tiers, but many have a decent amount of slope on them. Only thing to mark them down for is the amount of pitch marks, not unexpected on a shorter course.

The customer service was limited but good. Quick efficient check-in, no drink cart. No GPS on basic carts. Good mixture of holes. The ten par 3's ranged from 105 to 175 and provided different looks. The six short par 4's were a good mix of risk/reward with lakes or OB close by if you went for them and missed. The layout was VERY comparable with Sunrise Country Club that is close by. Both are par 60 with a generous amount of water hazards. One of the better executive courses I have ever played, definitely recommended.

Early morning round here today. Ugly and windy in the desert, but still had fun. Had a 6:51 "hot deal" through GolfNow for just $27 and it was well worth that. Joined up with another single. We went off second behind another twosome, but they let us play through at one point and we enjoyed a nice two-hour pace.

I was really impressed with the course conditions. It's in pretty much perfect shape from tee to green. Fairways, tee boxes and rough beautifully manicured. The greens a tad firm, but that was partly due to the wind drying them out so much. Not as fast as they looked, so took awhile to get used to the slower speeds. Bunkers good.

This s a fun executive course that's as nicely maintained as any course in the region. Six relatively short par-4s and a good mix of par-3s. "Oasis" name is well earned because there is a water hazard on every single hole. Still, a fairly easy layout with a lot of good scoring opportunities. Good place to work on your iron play for a warm-up or cool-down round in the desert.

Great greens begin aeration tomorrow. The rest of the course is lush, fairways quick, sand and rough very good. A quick shake out exec course for most of you clubs (sans Driver) supported by friendly staff and less than 3 hours. These days a Hot Deal golfnow can get you on for under $10 morning tee time. Quite an easy decision.

Superb conditions tees through greens. Lush, expertly manicured with quick firm greens, and fluffy sand bunkers, made the 3 hour round enjoyable and relaxing. Thanks to disciplined golfers on a busy course, and friendly staff, our late afternoon game was a breeze. Very nice. 3pm Friday March 22.

Shotgun 1230, 4 of us done in 3+20 on a superb presentation with firmish greens,but smooth and true. All rough lush, as are the fairways, and perfect manicuring throughout. A lot of fun, and good service as well. Very nice shape for an executive track, and also extremely active. Lots of golfers but easy still to get around in 3 hours. Greens are firm, and moderate speed with fairways and approaches also firm and running, so bump and run is the order. All sand is good, tees used well but good maintenance abounds. Rough is good, if not a bit thin.
Very easy and social track to work out your short game. Easily 6.5/10
Worth a look. Check golfnow for fees.
