Played today 7/17 with a group of friends at 8am this morning. Heat wasn't too bad during the morning hours. Course is in the same shape as my prior review. The sand traps were a bit better, sand wasn't rock hard and had been raked. Still a bit wet when we played. Tee boxes were nice as usual, level, and nicely mown. Greens... Super smooth and rolling well. Not too many ball marks which was a relief. This course has some of the nicest greens for a publicly played course in the valley. Really nice! All accept well struck shots. The fairway areas are really nice. Great value when using a booking site like teeoff.com Course greens are being punched on July 18 and 19.

Played today 6/5 with a group of friends at 8am this morning. Got a tee time through teeoff.com for the crazy price of 11 each + fee, total about $13. Great deal for the summer time frame out here and mostly beat the heat today. The breeze helped with the heat, no so much with the shot making.

The course is in great shape with one exception... the sand traps. They SUCK!!! Forestt Gump specials. You never know what you're going to get. Wet and hardpacked, dry and concrete. Pretty bad and nothing good in any of them. We had one gentleman play through who hit into the bunker. I was in said bunker and he asked for his ball. I asked if he was sure he didn't want to finish up from this fine location, he said something like "F that" and moved through our group! They were that bad.

Tee boxes were nice. Our group does a nice job using divot mix and filling areas that were torn up. Boxes are level, and nicely mown.

Greens... Super smooth and rolling well. Not too many ball marks which was a relief. Only two greens, 14 and 18, appears to have an issue. 14 is a mess for the first 8-12 feet of the green, marked GUR. The rest is really nice. 18 has some burned out areas on the slope facing south, getting burned by the sun is my guess. The rest are really nice and soft. All accept well struck shots and will allow for spinning them back, checking up, if you have that shot in your arsenal. Lots of balls within 3 feet of ball marks which is nice.

The fairway areas are really nice, mown well and provide good lies for errant shots at this par 3. Unlucky shot will definitely roll down slopes away from the greens.

Great course to work on your iron/hybrid game and an exceptional value if you use one of the tee time services.

Played the north course on 8/27. Played as a single around 8am and made it around in 2 hours. Some great green fees to be had from online services. There was nobody on the course except two players a couple holes behind me. It did get pretty hot by 10am, but glad to be off the course by them.

First time playing here and I was impressed with the course. It can be a ball eater for errant shots. Plenty of water to send them swimming. If you want to practice your iron game, this is a really good track. I hit everything from a gap wedge to 3 hybrid off the tees.

The course was in really nice shape. Tee boxes were great. Greens were soft and rolled very nice. Plenty of bite when hitting greens. One green was in rough shape, I think it was 15? Why do people fail to fix ball marks!!!! Did plenty of housekeeping because I can't stand looking at the green that are beat up. Otherwise the green grass was in really good shape. Three bunkers I visited had decent sand in them with the usual un-raked/footprint sections... appears to be a theme. :)

Nice place, good service, I'd definitely play here again.

Played the blues, par 54, 2999, teed off @ 625A as a single, finished by 810A, so the pace of play was excellent, 1H 45M for 18 holes. First time I played here very early in the day, 85 & humid is much different than the 110 in dryer conditions you could expect playing late in the day as I have done previously. I'll take the hotter & dryer, my shirt today looks like I just participated in a water balloon fight. This is a very nice par 3 course with plenty of traps & water hazards to keep you honest as you try to navigate the huge undulating greens. Picture an above average desert course, except instead of playing four to five par 3's, you are playing 18 instead to visualize this place. Since my father in laws home is right beside one of the greens, it's a very convenient place to tune up my iron game when staying here. The par 3's range from 110 to 218 from the blue tees and all are representative of what you may find on a "real" regulation golf course. I used 8 different irons on my tee shots today, ranging from 4I to SW in still, calm conditions. The greens and aprons are very nicely manicured. The greens are firm and putt medium slow, very typical of bermuda green conditions for August. The tees were very nice, few divots. A few were thin around the edges and didn't look great, bit where you played from had nice bermuda underneath. The bunkers look excellent aesthetically, nicely manicured around the edges and freshly raked. However, they are thin in spots from a playability point of view & could use some more sand. Nice course, the customer service has been excellent every time I have played here.

Very nice par 3 course with huge undulating greens + plenty of traps and water hazards to keep you honest. A great place to tune up your iron game, the par 3's range from 110 to 218 from the blue tees and all are representative of what you may find on a "real" course. The tees were very nice, few divots. The traps could use some more sand, they look well maintained but are thin in spots. The greens and aprons are nicely manicured. The greens are firm and putt medium slow, typical of bermuda greens in 105+ degree middle of the summer weather. The customer service has been excellent every time I have played here. Nice course, I played 36 holes today in 4 hours total and had the course completely to myself, did not encounter another golfer AD.

First time out this year, staying @ my father-in-law's, using his cart & clubs. Played surprising well considering the last time I hit a ball was last Labor Day & playing with unfamiliar clubs. This is not a typical par 3 course. Excellent variety of shorter, medium length and longer par 3's. Huge undulating greens that are surrounded by numerous lakes and dozens of deep, well maintained sand traps. The outskirts of many holes have sandy waste bunkers complete with cactus, bushes, rabbits and road runners. Although it was "only" 105 today, I only saw 2 other golfers out the entire round. The greens were generally smooth but putted on the slower side. The tees were very well maintained. The rough & fairways were well maintained as well. The course is in good condition for the middle of the summer. The customer service was a ++, they signed me up for a discount card and gave me my father-in-law's living on the course discount. Fun & challenging course to tune up your irons and get around in 3 1/2 hours or less. This is a good value based on the price, layout & condition, easily one of the nicest par 3 courses I have ever played.

Closing on Sep 23 for a month for reseeding. When it comes up for winter, go play.
Be aware, no range, just putting green.
