Hadn't been here in a while, but what a change ... in the wrong direction that is.
Myself and two friends can confirm we experienced card fraud from this place. Numerous fraudulent transactions occured after our visit here. And it was the only place we used our cards at during our day trip into Mexico. Food, drink and tolls were paid in cash.
Course wise, the place is a disappointment. Goat patch nines. Landscape is littered with unending and unfinished development projects. Ridiculous $90+ green fees. Just a real mess.
Stay away!!!

This is the second time I have played this course in the past month. Conditions were equal to the last time I played. Tee boxes nice, fairways nice, greens nice and pretty fast, rough was average, desert areas were not much of a sight. Ocean views were unbelievable. As noted before, 3 star playing surface, 5 star layout. This is considering a 0-5 rating system. Course hosted the PDS Invitational Tournament. You would not believe what 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes were. One of the best tournaments I have ever played.

Liked it as much as my last review. Conditions are improved. Still not perfect, but good to go. 3 star playing surface, 5 star course layout and design.

Nice setting,Along the ocean. Good weather. After 11:00 am the wind blows. Not worth the $ 80 to play because of course conditions and the travel to Baja and back. Can play several good courses in San Diego area for less.

I am not too impressed with this track. Too bad, because this is located at a premier location. I have seen better fairways at a $20 course, however, the greens are nice. Weird. Management allows 5 to 6 players per party. I guess its a cultural thing... But, I doubt it. I think $75 during the week is WAY too much. Most likely will not go again.

played here back in february with my buddies, took a ride from LA to hit up their $99 for 27 holes, hotel stay, breakfast, and margarita special. absolutely a great golf course. we were only able to play vista and oceano as the lagos was under renovation or something. vista was a great links style desert type 9 holes with plenty of interesting holes and challenges. very nice scenery with water and OB hazards. oceano was breathtaking, with the hole right before the water taking you over a huge ravine to the green, then the drop to the next hole right over crashing waves. a delight as it was not crowded and we had all the time in the world to enjoy it. greens and fairways on this 9 were not in as good condition, but i didnt' mind at all. a definite must try if you live in san diego, and if in LA, worth it for a great golf trip.

An amazing golf experience. Inland portions of the golf course are a link style challenge. Ocean portion of course is an unforgetable experience. There are three 9 hole layouts to choose from. I recommend playing all 27 holes. It is worth it.
The Ocean layout is spectacular. It will remind you of Pebble Beach due to its views and layout. Five holes run along the ocean side. However, it is not in the amazing condition of Pebble Beach. I would call this set of 9 holes a middle class mans Pebble Beach. By no means poor.
The Vista layout is a challenging links style layout. It plays long due to many elevation changes. You can see the Ocean from many holes on this layout. This is the toughest layout of all due to its length and challenging landing areas. Two lakes come into play on this layout. Overall a great challenge to the even the best golfer.
The Lagos layout is very fun. A lot of elevation changes. Not as link style as Vista. A bit more open than both of the other layouts. Still a challenge to any golfer. Two lakes come into play. An amazing par 3 finishing hole will highlight this layout.
Bajamar is my favorite golf course due to its amazing views, great holes, and challenging layout. Overall the course is in good condition. A very challenging layout. Bring a lot of balls if you are below a 10 handicap. Fairways tend to be fair to narrow in width. A good test of target golf. Course plays long, as many elevation changes take place. Greens roll true and tend to break towards the ocean.
A stay and play package will run about $150. The resort restaurant is amazing. The food is top of the line. The customer service of the hotel, course, and restaurant are 5 stars. Hotel amenities are 3.5 stars.
