Played this course yesterday, 9/2, for the first time with rob1563, John, and Woody. Had a great time! I loved the way the course and each holes were designed. Will be back again to play here.

The course is preparing to reseed/aerate for the season and with that said, it would be unfair to make a fare rating for its current conditions, however, for the sake of rating the course, I must say, it was pretty playable. The ball rolled pretty good in the fairways and the bunkers I was in had sand. The greens thick bermuda are prominent. It's not an easy read as the grains could influence the opposite breaks.

In any case I can't wait to play it after aeration and healing begins.

Played on the 4th of July just before 8am. Typical Vegas resort course with great customer service. Everyone had a smile and a greeting. Very friendly drink cart started at 8 and was around at least twice per 9. Drive thru snack shack between 9 and 10 with food/beverage specials going. Large all grass driving range and the putting green was course speed. They are replacing their large chipping and bunker area right now.

1st time I played here and I love the layout. I thought it was fair from the white tees (69.3/119, 6211 yds), and would be a good test for those who play from the tips (74.5/137, 7233 yds). This course has held US Open and PubLinks qualifying in the past. There were just a few things holding the course back from being "great." Tee boxes were level, and most were divot free, but needed to be cut. Fairways were wide and lush, however, they over-water in the morning due to the summer heat. This caused some pools in the fairways and muddy ruts from some cart traffic. Rough was in great condition, thick and hard to advance out of. The greens were punched 3 weeks ago. The front 9 was still showing the effects, bumpy and medium. The back 9 greens were in better shape, medium fast and mostly smooth. Some of the greens had fungus damage away from the hole.

I will definitely be back. If it wasn't across town for me, I would play here all the time. I paid $35 with the OB card and it was well worth it. Pace was a little slow early but we finished in just over 4 hours.

I played here Saturday, May 4th. I'd never played here before, but I will be back. This is a resort course. You are treated as a guest and a valued one. The course is a bit of an ego builder; the fairways are wide and either I had a good day with the driver or there are not many obstacles in the fairways ( I had a good day; 13 of 14 fairways). The tee boxes and fairways were great. The greens were slow and there were issues with what appeared to be the result of a fungal infestation. But they were smooth except for the affected areas. The bunkers were either without sand or they were extremely compacted. I was in a group of 60 players and everyone who was in one complained about the bunkers. A very nice driving range, chipping area and practice putting green. Regular visits by the beverage cart. Coldest beer I've had in a long time in the gril

Played on 4/20. Perfect day and great golf. Service was excellent. From the greeting to the clubhouse after. Course was in very good condition and getting better. High level of play but they take great care of it and it shows. Pace was very good, and beverage service was frequent. Greens are shaping up where in a few weeks they will be perfect! Challanging holes from all tee boxes. Be careful to not bite off more than you can chew! Pick the right tee box and you will have a great time.

Pace of play is always a bit on the slow side there, we were a foursome sandwiched between 2 twosomes. Always a good deal pricewise with the OB card.

Some well designed holes with sloping fairways and interesting doglegs. Had the egg and sausage breakfast muffin…thanks kviser for recommendation. Greens were decent, a little bumpy but ran well. The fairways and rough were lush. Sand in some bunkers was good, others bad. Excellent customer service and we played at the $70 rate I found on their site. Will be back.

Played on Friday, March 16, 2012. My brother found an online special of $70/player. That rate included range balls and a cart. Customer service was great; as good as it gets. Upon arrival our bags were immediately placed on a cart. The starter was forthcoming about course conditions and gave us some tips (breaks to the northeast) and a yardage book. After breakfast ($4.50 egg and sausage muffin) and practice time, we were offered the option to go out early with another twosome. They recently punched some small holes on the greens, but no sand top dressing. There were several repair areas on many of the greens, but mostly did not come into play as pins were placed away from the worst areas. I'm not sure of the problems on the greens, but there were areas that were either sanded or re-sodded. Too bad, because the greens were otherwise great: fast and rolled true. Tees were decent. The fairways and rough were really good. I never had a bad lie anywhere. The sand was not so good. A couple of bunkers were decent, but for the most part the sand was course and not so plentiful. Getting out of greenside bunkers was a little tricky. I hope they get a handle on the problem areas as this is a great track.

Played Legacy on Monday 12.21 on a $49 rate (thru my Tijeras Creek membership--OB Sports). Normally the course is $110 and it would have been worth that rate. this is a beautiful and pretty challenging course (at least on a few holes). It was a bit cold the day I played, but still good enough. I shot a 92 (due to two blow up holes). If you're in the lAs Vegas area and want to play I really recommend it. Customer service (from bag drop thru cart girl was spot on.

A previous reviewer found the course to resemble Silverstone, and I have to agree. That is not a bad thing. If there was recent aerification, you could hardly tell. One problem was a large number of pitch marks on the greens, especially number 10 (their signature hole). It wasn't terrible, though. The greens were a medium fast pace. Fairways and rough were lush. The tee boxes could use a little work, as several were well-divotized and a couple you had a hard time finding a level spot. Pace of play was about 4 1/2 hours.
