First time. Played morning of Black Friday. Wasn't used to the 10 degree difference in the morning between OC and Riverside county so took awhile to get warmed up. Green fee was $49 and thought it was a steal to play prime time for that amount. Customer service was good. Overall I thought the course was a fun track. Fairways weren't the greatest...way too dried out and bare but the greens on the other hand were good (little on the slow side). PoP was about 5 hours due to the chatty guys ahead of us. Definitely going to play it again the next time I'm back in the area visiting family.

Got out at 8:00 this morning. Played in 4 hours with decent spacing between the groups. The course was in nice shape, albeit in winter type conditions with dormant Bermuda fairways and quite a few tight lies. Not many bare spots I could see. The rough was low. The sand was nice in the two traps I was in. The greens were the teeth of the course, undulating and fast. On the fourth hole I believe, the first par three, one member of our group was just on the upper tier with the hole on the middle level. His putt barely got over the edge of the tier and the ball rolled 50 or 60 feet, ending up about 15 feet off the front of the green. Being below the hole was important.

The staff was friendly and professional. Played for $100 for two with an underpar coupon. Great deal on a nice track.

2nd time playing here, since 2.5 years ago. Took advantage of the coupon, TY GK and Redhawk, very good deal. Facilities are very nice and customer service was friendly. Course conditions were in good shape. Layout is fun, be careful with 1st and last holes, more tricky than difficult. Only knock on the course is the way shorter than normal par 3's. Par 3 over water, looks like it belongs at Augusta, unfortunately it was the bumpiest of all the greens. I will probably be back soon to play again.

Greens: great condition, medium to fast and "holding".

Fairways: good condition but there are some tight lies.

Traps: no report as I was not in any but they looked playable.

Rough: some areas were quite wet and then tire grooves from the golf carts otherwise OK.

POP: just over 4 hours.

Excellent customer service.

Played on 10/25/2014. Wow, what a course. (I can see why you like it so much JohnnyGK) Quite a challenge for a semi-high handicapper such as myself. Greens were terrific, but all of the posts are true, don't be above the hole. I figured out the pace pretty quick, but my playing partners putted off the greens more than once. Fairways were a bit thin but acceptable. Lots of little tough spots for rough all over the course. Tee boxes needed some work. I will have to play there again just to putt on those greens, love the challenge.

Played here on Friday, 8/29 in the early AM. The course is in excellent condition considering the hot summer. Greens: a little soft in the early AM but were firming up as the day progressed. The greens were smooth and medium speed. Fairways: great condition considering the heat in Temecula. Rough: punishing around the greens, 2-4" high. Traps: Most traps in good condition around the greens BUT lots of unraked foot prints. Guess maybe the maintenance crew did not get to the raking of the traps yet. The one fairways trap I was in was hardpan. POP: just over 4 hours. Used the GK coupon for $35. Complimentary water from the cart girl, really needed it on the back nine as the temp was approaching 90.

such a great a track @ RedHawk. also, thank you for the coupon from Greenskeeper. from tee to green, the course is very well maintained. tee boxes were leveled. fairways were in great conditions and like carpet which your tee shot will benefit from. DON'T get in the rough, it will punish you. 1-3" and thick. 1st & 2nd cut were perfect. greens were running a bit faster than medium and rolled well. due to the layout of green areas, most of the greens have false front and back and pin placement was a bit tough over this weekend. love this track. and who can forget RedHawk's signature, #8...beautiful

Greens are still recovering from recent maintenance and are still not what you would expect. I would give the greens a couple more weeks before they are back to their usual condition. Fairways were very wet yesterday, maybe expecting a heat wave? The staff is always great here and the course is very challenging for all levels. Pace of play is good if you get out early in the day. It's always a good time when playing here.

Played Redhawk Golf Club last Saturday as part of our GK Cup plays…which pretty much turned out as more of a casual get together. 11 of us showed up and I got to tee it up with Rat-Patrol, Ringworld and RobStretch. Our group had a fantastic time as you could image with this crew. The course was in great shape as far I was concerned. I thought the greens rolled mostly smooth, held shots well and were medium/fast. We were treated to some very challenging pin placements although that I’m contributing mostly to the that fact they hosted a Toyota Tour Cup Jr. event…pretty much all scratch players. Pin placements on holes 4 and 14 were just insane. The fairways were real dry but provided good firm lies all day. The rough was lush and about 1 to 3 inches. The bunkers had good quality sand and well maintained. The tee boxes were good shape and mostly level (we played the blue tees).

But the thing that I dig most about Redhawk is the layout and design. Just take a look at the photos. It’s a challenging yet fair track (although some may argue the greens are not fair and I could see that but for me I like all the undulations). Great scenery and variety of holes. Lots of elevation changes and at times some tight fairways. I love the water features and holes 8 and 18 are by far my favorites.

I’ve always received excellent service and Saturday was no different. Proshop was polite and handled our GK Coupon deal Redhawk provided fine. Cart staff/starter was real torrent of some of our group that showed up late. Restaurant staff friendly. Marshals out there doing there job and in a respectful way. I felt well treated.

My only gripe is I thought the prices for refreshments were too high. $4.50 for an Arizona Arnold Palmer was steep. I’m used to paying $3.50 for it at other courses. Some of the others in our group that also grabbed some drinks at the turn were not that happy with what they paid.

Wish Redhawk was not a 2hr 30min drive for me otherwise I would be playing more often. Highly Recommended.
