Played here on Jan 10 for the first time in a year. Fairway and rough are dormant but have some body, traps are OK. Greens are firm, in excellent condition and on the fast side especially the downhill putts. Pace of play was just under 4 1/2 hours.

Played a couple days ago. Course is dormant. Greens were fantastic, no ball marks, smooth, medium speed. Bunker were very good. Fairways and rough were playable, tee boxes needed to be mowed.

Played the Lakes course in a small shotgun Sunday at 8:30am. POP was just under 5 hours. Fairways were firm, matted, mostly green with some brown/bare areas, but the rough could be deep and had some bite to it on several holes, mostly in low lying areas. Bunkers were a bit firm: had to be very careful to avoid bouncing the club and hitting the flyer. Greens mostly in decent shape, some occasional evidence of damage, a little bit bumpy and firm, medium speed ... some slope to them, too ... had to really take the time to get a good read for one to drop. Cart gal out working both courses which were full of golfers. Yes, I'd play here again if not for the long drive.

Layout: it's a mostly flat (with gentle elevation changes) straighforward course winding though the nice Menifee neighborhoods. It can be a bit of a challenge due to the fairway roll out, well placed bunkers, and some H20 hazzards ... a few tight short holes and reachable par 5's

Played here 10/14. This being one of the few local tracks not aerating or over-seeding, everyone and his mother was out there. Started out as a foursome, finished 6hrs later as a group of six. I was seeing groups of 5 all day long.
Condition of the course was just ok. Tee boxes mostly level and lush. Some dry spots on the fairways. Bunkers were thin. Greens a bit bumpy and slow.
Despite getting a great deal at C4TT ($20), the 6hr round had me wishing it was over by the 10th hole.

Course is in almost perfect shape considering that the weather has heated up. Tees, fairways, and greens are in the best shape I have ever seen them. Very few marks on the greens and rolling great. Staff always freindly here and pace of play has always been less than 4 1/2 hours. Will recommend to all and those I don't also.

First time playing here. Found a great deal on click4teetimes so I figured I would try it out.
I would rate the customer service between poor and fair. I had to pry the starter away from his conversation with a co-worker to check in and get range balls. Trying to get a beer and hot dog after the round was more work than it should have been.

Course conditions were decent. Tee boxes, fairways and rough were thin. Greens and bunkers were very good. Tee boxes need some work...not level, divot damage and thin.

Nothing spectacular here as far as the layout goes.

Very nice course to walk...mostly flat and not very long. I would play here again.

I played the Lakes course this afternoon. I played the Palms course several years ago and it didn't leave much of an impression on me, so I was not in a rush to come back. Their rates always seemed a bit high for what the courses seem to offer. However, today I got a "hot deal" on GolfNow for $31 at 12:56pm and I figured it was worth the shot. This course didn't "wow" me either, but it's a solid layout with some challenging holes. Lots of water comes into play (especially after the big storm yesterday) and a decent variety of hole layouts. So it was well worth the price of admission today.

The courses weren't too crowded today. I played with another single. We teed off on first hole behind a really slow foursome of novice players, but they let us play through on the second tee. Another group let us play through on the 5th tee. After that we got stuck behind a few foursomes and the pace slowed down a little bit. Overall it was still a very nice pace and we finished in about 3.5 hours. Can't beat that on a Saturday!

The course was in solid shape. Greens rolling fast and mostly smooth, but softened with all the rain and pretty receptive on approach shots. Bunkers were hit and miss, as some retained more rain water than others. Fairways OK. A little patchy here and there, but not bad overall. No complaints about the course conditions or price, so it was a great day to play. Only mild complaint was that they were playing cart path only because of the rains. However, the fairways weren't chewed up or soggy at all, so I don't think the carts would have done any damage. Ironically, several of the cart paths between holes were extremely flooded (probably about a foot deep in some areas), so we got a little Splash Mountain action in our carts to add some excitement.

Both courses are in good shape. The greens are fairly fast and smooth. I have played this course in prior summers and was disappointed. But, not this summer. There is more hot temperatures ahead but so far this course has been maintained very well withstanding the heat.
