Played 4/3/2008 on a sunny, breezy afternoon. Greens were in good shape and quick, but many had lots of recent and old ballmarks. Fairways generally good, but 7 of 14 were roped off from carts – ridiculous. Lots of sand on this course and many traps had the baggie showing. Cart girl came by a couple times but no ranger. Staff didn’t coordinate well as we arrived at the first tee just as a large group of high schoolers was teeing off for a match – staff stopped their tourney to get us and another group off, but confusion was distracting. Slow pace led to our finishing in complete darkness. Conditions haven’t improved much since the last time I was here 18 months ago, so I probably won’t be back.

Played here on Sat. 07-28-07. Some fairways were like a battlefield. Roughs were all USGA length and worse. Saw more sand than when I was in the Sahara.......This course can be very cruel!

played here on monday afternoon. course is just okay. greens were in good shape but some of the fairways were need of turf replacement. the establishment here are friendly but they care much more about the country club adjacent to this course then this one and it shows in course conditions. price is right for local twilight paid 29 dollars in 110 degree heat but after playing tpc sawgrass last week in florida it is still better then 90 degrees with 90% humidity. course is okay if you can get this rate but siena golf club is same price and better course i believe. oh also some bunkers have tarp showing which is unacceptable for me. have fun!

Played in the late afternoon on a hot Thursday, 6/22/06, to get a cheap local super-twilight rate ($29). Resort-style course that I played last Fall and wanted to try again - low-stress layout that's visually attractive, surrounded by nice homes and attractive landscaping. Not a lot of elevation change or sharp doglegs, but lots of bunkers. Many greens almost surrounded by sand. Course was very crowded and pace was poor - 2.5 hrs on the front, waiting on every shot, not much better on the back. Never saw a course ranger. Course condition was generally good - greens very good, firm but receptive, but a million ball marks. Does anyone ever repair them!? Course had a lot of turf problem areas, with resodding and roped areas. Several holes roped off from carts - course is very spread out, with long distances from green to tee, so walking not practical for any but the young and hardy. Several bunkers had the 'baggie' showing, some in multiple spots. Many of ther ponds have an algae problem. Cart girl came by on 8 and 12. While I like the course, slow pace and indifferent staff are negatives. Also, course is public but in a gated community, and the entry gate procedure is incredibly inefficient as you sit in 110 degree heat. Given other area choices, probably a non-recommendation.

Beautiful Arnold Palmer course. It is fairly wide open and you're not too severely penalized for slighty errant shots. Plays 6433 from the Black Tees, so it is not too long. A very enjoyable course. I would highly recommend it.

Okay golf course. Not worth the money. Little sister to adjacent private club in service and course condition. Greens are super smooth but rock hard. Good luck trying to hold a green. Slow play. Disappointing from a Palmer signature course.

Played Sun. 4/16 and paid non resident rate of 189. Really not worth it but when your playing golf in Vegas as a non-resident there are not to many fairly priced good courses. Course is well Bunkered as the starter who drove us out to the 1st tee said. He was more then correct. My playing partner seemed to be in ATLEAST 1 per hole. Greens are hard and do not hold shots well. I hit a high lob wedge from 60 yard as my 3rd shot on the par 5 1st hole that landed 3 feet fro the whole and it rolled all the way back to the fringe. This happened on many occasions to my dismay. Greens are fast and cut very thin, almost bare. Fairways are nice and lush. Bunker sand seemed a little heavy but atleast they had sand. There is a lot of driving from hole to hole. 1st tee seemed to be 5 mins from clubhouse. You need a shuutle to get to the driving range, and back. Won't be able to use your own cart. GPS was available but useless when greens would not hold approach shots. Nice views but seemed as though the private members of other 18 hole couse received most of the attention. Felt like 2nd class citizens even though we paid $189.

One of Arnie's "signature courses" but not worth the $160 price tag in my humble opinion. Short and forgiving from the tees but the greens are well protected with lots of bunkers. Slow pace of play and GPS in carts was marginal. Good luck!

Played on 12/1 and while the views were great the course was not worth the green fees. First problem was trying to get a ride to the driving range. The staff had no clue what was going on and because of this we didn't get to hit balls on the range. Many bare spots on the course and the greens are way too hard. Hit a 7 iron from 165 landed on the front of the green and rolled 25 yards to the back. Speed was fine but they just wouldn't receive a shot. After playing many of the other courses in Vegas I will avoid this one in the future. If the price was $75 ok. Can you believe they do not have a snack bar? The cart girl was seen twice and she didn't have much of anything to offer.

Played Sunday afternoon, November 27th, in crisp weather with a steady north wind that made play uncomfortable. Started at 12:30 to get the twilight rate. The course was in excellent condition, except for some turf repair areas on a couple holes on the back nine. Picturesque holes with up-close views of local mountains, surrounded by large homes, with attractive on-course landscaping. Very firm, difficult greens, many of them humpbacked to kick balls to the sides; lots of sand. In each cart is a cheap GPS – distances only are provided, no picture of the hole or green, and the course has no yardage book, so for first-time players you are really guessing what’s ahead on several holes. The course needs better signage leading to the course and on the course, to get golfers to the proper tee in some places. Only saw the cart girl once, around 2:15; never on the back nine. Overall, recommended.

Played here 6 months ago. Nice track good value. Not too long and difficult, but had very fast greens and lots of traps. I belive it is an Arnold Palmer design.
