Played on Monday, the 8th of July. The greens were in great shape, but the fairways left a little to be desired. I know it is that time of the year for the grass - but !!!! Anyway, overall the course was in good shape and the price was right

Played on 6-16-08. Played Desert Hawk/Eldorado - both 9 holes were in great shape. The greens were also in great shape-(95% were very fast) - I think one green was slow -(I think it was just my putt was bad.) I would definitely play the course again - it was well worth the money !!

Played here on 4/21. Course conditions were perfect. Very little wind which was nice considering the forecast. Course is a must play before they aerate in May. Greens ran true with perfect speed, fairways are lush with no bad lies that I could see. Got great local rate but also they post good tourists rates on golfnow.com as well I saw some as low as 60 dollars which is excellent considering what other local courses are getting away with charging.

highly recommended also great gps which is necessary for first time players.

Played 3/24/08. Expected Coyote Run/Desert Hawk but they decided to work on Desert Hawk the day before so El Dorado instead. Beautiful day, just a breeze. The course as well as the staff are excellent. I will say that that day I needed off road tires on my ball-still, the course played great. Greens were nice, quick and true. Fairways perfect-we did enjoy Coyote Run more then El Dorado for scenery and feel but the El Dorado track is challenging as well. Remember, greens break towards the dry lake bed! Highly recommend this track.

Played on Monday, 7-7-08 This course is in great shape for this time of the year. The special they are running is a great price also ($70.00) for two courses in 2 weeks. Can't beat that price !!!! The course is in great shape as I stated. The fairways and greens are in fantastic shape for this time of the year. The overall experience was great - from the cart guy - to the desk person - was good. Very friendly group of gentlemen. I highly recommend this course to play.

Fantastic layout. Great condition. Interesting hole designs. Helpful, friendly staff. Great value for the money. Best GPS system I have ever seen. It allows you to manage your game very effectively and navigate the course for your best score. I left an expensive pair of sunglasses in the cart and they were found by the staff and are being mailed back to my home in MD. That's integrity! I will play there again and again when I am in town next.

The course was in great shape considering it was getting ready for top seeding- Desert Hawk/Coyote Run (that time of the year). Other than that, is was a pleasure playing the course (very fast time and a great deal-price wise). With 3 nine's the course should be in good shape at all times.

Played there 08/09/07, 6:18am. Greens were nice and smooth, rolled true. not that fast. Fairways were great and rolled good. great condition. tee boxes were in good condition, thought there were areas being maintained.

This course is a must play. GK has a special for members. log on check it out. Anyway play the course and see it for your self. It's got length, strategic placements of bunkers, water and arroyos... Beautiful course!

Played on Saturday afternoon for the twilight rate plus a Red Dot discount so the price was awesome! This is a very fun course that makes you think, thank God for thier great GPS. The course was in great condition considering it is the middle of winter. The rough was the only thing that was brown and everything else was very green. about a half hour out of Vegas and well worth the drive. The only bad part was we saw no marshalls and the round which began at 12:15 didn't end until 5.5 hours later, because we had a group in front of us playing from the wrong tees(which there is six sets of and waited for the green to clear from 300 yards and in. Try Boulder Creek, you'll be happy you did.

A great course for someone looking for their first desert course experience. Arroyos are all in play so if you find your ball, you can hit it. Staff was very friendly and course is in excellent shape. The greens were VERY fast and undulating so bring your A game.

Played the course on 7-3-06 (Monday) - the course was in beautiful shape - the greens were true and fast. the fairways were also in great shape - well manicured and great to hit a ball from. Overall I would give the course a great "that a boy". The personnel were all very friendly and the cart girl was "there" when you wanted her. Well worth the money !!!!!!

Played the course today and it was very nice. The greens were in very good shape and the fairways were in excellent. We teed off at 12:00 noon so was a lot of wind - but once again the course was in great shape. Playing at this time of the day of course was a great bargin - money wise - (Clark county resident).

THIS COURSE IS IN THE BEST SHAPE EVER!! THE GREENS ARE MORE RECEPTIVE THEN IN YEARS PAST AND FAIRWAYS AND GREENS ARE IN IMMACULATE SHAPE!! THIS IS A MUST PLAY RIGHT NOW ESPECIALLY BEFORE THEY AERATE THE TWO ORGINAL NINES WHICH ARE THE BEST 18 HOLE COMBO. PLAYED ON 5/9 NOBODY IN FRONT OF US ALL DAY NICE 4HR ROUND! GOOD DEALS ON GOLF NOW.COM IF YOU CAN GET TO THAT SITE! PAYED 35 DOLLARS FOR A COURSE AS GOOD AS ANY IN VEGAS. THE ONLY THING ABOUT THIS COURSE IS THE WIND BLOWS OFTEN! EVEN WHEN IT FEELS LIKE NO WIND THERE IS WIND UP THERE BEWARE! GREAT COURSE IN THE BEST SHAPE PLAY IT NOW!!

This course is still one of the best values in the Vegas area, especially for locals, and not that much farther off the Strip than many courses on the north or west side of town. Greens are in great shape, and entire course plays very firm and fast. Coyote/Desert nines are the best choice of the 3 nines - in a south wind, all par 5s on those two loops play into the wind, making them very challenging. Links-type course on rolling terrain with natural areas scattered throughout, and frequently windy - be prepared. Highly recommended.

great course in great shape played it on 4/12/06. greens are fast but hold well. this course is underrated on this website i believe. the only thing is if you play in afternoon expect wind and lots of it!!! you must use the gps here as well it is true desert course with arroyos and wasteland areas. not all holes are to be played with a driver but people still do and then get upset!! i dont understand that. once again great course for reasonable price!!

Boulder Creek was a bit of a disappointment after hearing many good reviews. We got a great rate online but even that great rate didn't cover up the fact that the course was in poor shape. The fairways and tee boxes were extremely thin and quite discolored. The greens were also a bit crusty and thin. Not sure if the lack of rain has caused all of this or what. The rough was dormant so I can't say anything bad about that. The layout of the 3 nine's is excellent with a nice mix of difficult and challenging holes. Just wish the course had been in better shape...

Played the El Dorado/Desert Hawk combination on 2/22/06 in the late afternoon. Course was almost deserted, so breezed around in 3 hours on a sunny day with only light wind. Previously played Desert Hawk/Coyote Run – see my post of 7/12/05, if still available. That’s the best combo of the 3 nines here – the El Dorado nine, while nice, doesn’t have the flavor of the other two, except for holes 7-9, where bunkering and visual touches are used to make you think hard about where you want to go. Yesterday, the fairways and greens were very dry and firm. Greens are large on all 3 nines, so getting close to the hole is important, unless you are a good long putter. Fairways were very thin, with scattered areas almost bare. Overall a great value for the area.

Played Desert Hawk and Coyote Run. Played with a Boulder City resident and had a great time. Course is in nice shape and very challenging. Has 4 sets of men's tees. One great hole was #2 on Desert Hawk, a par 5 with a split fairway, two big hits can get you home from the left side, if you go to the right side of fairway you need to deal with bunkers and raised green.

Clubhouse and food and bar atmosphere were excellent.

Played the course on 10/19. This course is outstanding!!! This was my 4th time or so to play this course and it is always in top shape. It had just rained cats and dogs the day before but the course was still in perfect condition. Fairways were fantastic and the greens were perfect (fast and true). This course never disappoints, never! This is a must play for all. And with three 9-hole layouts you can mix them up each time you come. ALWAYS! in top shape.

Boulder Creek is a 40 min drive from the Las Vegas strip, but it is well worth the drive. They had recently completed overseeding and the fairways and greens were in great shape. I also played Black Mountain, which was decent, but Boulder Creek far exceeded my expectations.

I love this course. It plays fast and is designed well. The GPS is very advanced and accurate. The tee boxes have taken a beating from the heat this summer, but should rebound by mid October. I highly recommend this course, just wait until fall to play it again.

Played last week. One of my favorites in Vegas and keep coming back...only when my game is on. Three very different 9's. Very tight course that punishes and can get really windy in the afternoon. Bring a rock club for the arroyo.

I played this course at twilight rate and it was more than worth it at that rate. Three nines and all are very challenging and will test anyone's skills. Target golf!
