I play the Mountain 9 course almost weekly. Generally it's a good pace and can walk it anywhere between 1hr30 and 2hrs. Occasionally you fall behind a school tourny and then it will be 3hrs. If you see this ask the pro shop if you can just jump on River or Pine.

I play the Mountain 9 course almost weekly. Generally it's a good pace and can walk it anywhere between 1hr30 and 2hrs. Occasionally you fall behind a school tourny and then it will be 3hrs. If you see this ask the pro shop if you can just jump on River or Pine.

The course is generally always in good shape. Depending on the tee box marker location, it can be nice and flat or badly sloped. Fairways have good coverage and play fine. Rough is always an issue here as it can get cut to 2" or 6" right next to it. Bunkers are fine and the greens are actually pretty nice. They are on the slow side and don't break much, but they are usually pretty smooth.

Just recently played here for an annual tournament. This course has seen better days. Tee boxes were good, fairways had some patchy grass and some areas super firm, greens rolled fine but were super slow. Some sand traps had a bunch of rocks and the sand was very firm.

Played Saturday 7/11 @ 7:45AM. Wonderful pace for a weekend. Just over 4 hours for our foresome. Course is playing nice which is usually is. Tee boxes were fine, fairways had good coverage and greens rolled true.

Played a four hour round Thursday morning on the Creek/Stonehouse nines. The staff is always in step and check in goes smoothly every time. The carts are pretty plush with everything one needs and then some. The GPS in our cart was extremely accurate and Bluetooth speakers connected without a problem. The tee boxes were in nice shape with total coverage including the par three holes on both nines. The rough has finally been cut to a perfect height for holding up off line shots. Finding your ball was pretty easy and hitting from the rough was doable. The fairways have been trimmed down as well and the thin sections have filled in nicely. Hitting from the fairways was a pleasure and provided decent roll. The traps were all raked and just slightly damp. I found several and playing from them wasn't an issue. The greens were in excellent shape with a noticeable speed difference on the two nines. The Creek greens were much quicker but held approach shots good. The Stonehouse greens held well also but were damper and slower. The Stonehouse nine was in really good shape compared to my last round many months ago. We generally walk the Oaks/Creek nines but Stonehouse is not an enjoyable walk. Always recommended

We found the course to be in good shape in all areas.

Tee boxes are clean and playable.

Fairways have great coverage lies and rollout.

Traps were all playable and most of them had been raked by previous players. Nice to see.

Greens are good size and have undulations so playing to the right spots is crucial based on the pin location. Today they had them in fair locations and the greens were rolling very nicely all round.

Great customer service from all in contact with.

Nice driving range and putting green to prepare one for their round.

Along with Rancho Solano Fairfield has two of the nicest public courses to play golf at in this area. And still reasonably priced.
