The "Aeration Alert" is slightly inaccurate...greens aeration will take place 10/5 - 10/7 (2026)

Just a quick update:
Play day: September 19, 8:00.
They’ve had problems with their mowers for a while and haven’t had been mowing the roughs. While it’s patchy, they are 10-12 inch thick- almost guaranteeing a lost ball.
Greens ran slow- 8 at best.
Not a good time for a visit here for now.

Greens in respectable condition. Most of the fairway is in decent condition. They pack the tee times pretty tight!!!! POP = 4:43!!! Staff is extremely friendly. Korean cook makes decent hot meals....even if it's Americanized....still satisfying! (Like everyone's grandma...super nice) I normally don't play this course, but I was glad I did!

Played 48 last Friday and 18 on Saturday in the GK/Vivid outing with 108 temperature on Friday and cooling down to a nice 102 on Saturday. Tee boxes were all level and lush with very minor divot damage on par threes. Fairways were all in very nice condition with some minor bare spots on 2. Played 48 last Friday and 18 on Saturday in the GK/Vivid outing with 108 temperature on Friday and cooling down to a nice 102 on Saturday. Tee boxes were all level and lush with very minor divot damage on par threes. Fairways were all in very nice condition with some minor bare spots on 2. They all provided great lies with decent roll out. Rough was playing 2-3 inches and thick with the ball sitting down in the healthy Bermuda. Was in a few fairway and green side bunkers over the rounds and found them all to be in great shape with a good layer of sand. Greens were in really good condition, rolling a little on the slow side, playing semi-soft and rolling mostly smooth. Great place for a golf getaway. Highly recommend.

Played Canyon for the first time in several months. 3H POP. Have never seen the rough this lush or this deep after recent rains. You can lose a ball when it sits down barely off the fairway. Advancing it a decent distance isn't happening for most golfers when it sits down in the thick Bermuda. Greens are very smooth, firm and medium fast. Advancing it a decent distance isn't happening for most golfers when it sits down in the thick Bermuda. Greens are very smooth, firm and medium fast. Fairways/Tees very nice with the Bermuda out in full force with warmer temps. Greenside traps really nice, fairway traps thinner and more hard packed. Fringes higher than normal, which really affects chips. Range, carts, GPS excellent. Restaurant/men's lounge provides decent food in a friendly atmosphere. Cart guys are always good here. Highly recommended.
