Played Collindale with Tanner and a new member to be, today with a steady breeze and mostly overcast and cool. First time playing here this season and found myself always mentioning how nice the course was playing in. Considering we have not recieved much as far as mostiure all year in fact back into last fall the course was in real good shape. Fairways were lush green with only a few areas here and there that were on the bald side. Greens had just been punched a few weeks ago so although they were on the bumpy side still, they were real good. Tee boxes also are starting to take hold and most were in excellent condition. As much as I would like to report that those dang trees were gone, they are almost full bloomed out and still sending out there magnetic field and having my shots hit into them, but that is a different story. The staff was very friendly today in fact because of the help they were with me and my questions I bought a set of Ping G15 irons from them maybe these will help my ball stay away from the trees haha. Anyhoo Collindale is shaping up to be in the best condition I have seen in a few years, with almost all of their bunkers being rebuilt in the past year. I am looking forward to playing this track many times this year. This is one layout in this area that you need to play.
