The heat is on! Those summer late afternoon rounds. Love them.

Looking forward to hearing about your rounds. Let's have some memorable ones!

Played in Texas and Oklahoma over the weekend. 100° heat and 60% humidity along with a sever thunderstorm that cut short my Texas round.

First round was at WinStar Casino Resort, OK- Redbud- hit driver very well until the last two holes one hook and one slice. There is a lot of tall fescue on this course but I was able to avoid most of it only losing one ball all day. Rough was penal though and tough to make good contact. Shot 86 which was perfectly fine for me on this day.

Second round was at Robson Ranch, TX- We made it 14 holes before a severe thunderstorm with tons of lightning cut us short. Front nine went well with a 40 including 2 birds but I erased them with two doubles. Back nine I had an 8 on a par three after dunking two water balls the first one spinning off the green. Probably would've ended up in the 84-85 range had we finished.

84, more importantly the body held together and was able to walk off the course in an almost upright condition!

Too little, and too much.

Played too little, and when I did, I shot too much.

The goal has always been long and straight! But since I can no longer hit them long, hopefully straighter could be achieved more than occasionally?
