The Greenskeeper.org website is much more heavily tilted toward golf course conditions and issues dealing with golf courses. I do not know of any specific site you could go to and quick reference what you are asking for.

Maybe a site that specializes in golf clubs?

The goal has always been long and straight! But since I can no longer hit them long, hopefully straighter could be achieved more than occasionally?

Gene Sarazen made his own sand iron for the 1932 Open Championship at Prince's in Kent. And probably had it in the bag for the 1935 Master's too.

Get yourself a small forge some old truck spring steel...

and get a hold of FirstFlightFX-101 to help.

Yup, wouldn't take much for that to happen...Clubs are tools for striking a ball...and brushes, grinders, sanders, torches, lead tape and rattlecans; are tools to make clubs more striking! ;-) Hmmm, imagine getting a hold of an AF blank, like a putter or wedge, and working it till it comes alive!

Hey Peter, my daughter married and moved to South Bend... so I won't be making regular trips to your neck of the woods anymore. :-( However, Look me up whenever you're down here in these lower 'purple counties', and maybe we'll set up a meet-play! Maybe go to Rancho Del Sol, and let you take a crack at 'Luna'(hole 16) from the tippy top!

Cheers,
