UPDATE: 5/7

Great so see so many GKers helping letting us know what golf courses are reopening!

Check out this very informative page just released by the National Golf Foundation regarding COVID-19.

NGF COVID-19 Details

Keith and I reading all the posts, appreciate them and then POSTING if a PUBLIC golf course is closed due to COVID-19 precautions into the Maintenance Alerts sections of the website and Greenskeeper iPhone App. This in addition to posting Maintenance Alerts. The goal is to get COVID-19 alerts fully integrated into the golf course pages.

Your BEST resource already is to view the golf course pages directly like you normally do to view Maintenance Alerts.

This forum thread and others are best used for ALL of us to share information about golf course closures or ones that are open

This is a very unstable fluid situation with golf courses closing and reopening or even closing again. True to Greenskeeper.org's creed "Know Before You Go" we are doing our best and very much appreciate the assistance of the GK Community for information.

Goat Hill Park opening back up tomorrow!!

And the course got a fresh mow today and right now is looking good!

Definitely a lot of stipulations. Walking only, I believe they are still going to do the above ground cups with no flags (its actually pretty cool) and check in is a bit different.

Anyone have a recommended course in LA, OC, SD region that is currently open? Budget: under a 100. I’m a fan of value courses, and not a lot of blind tee shots.

The LA City courses are still open and the mayor has designated them open spaces. I'm thinking there isa golfer high up in city government. But, for the record, I took a look at the tee sheet via the booking page and there isn't much before late afternoon available on a lot of their courses. Makes sense, given the alternatives are being greatly reduced.

That changes dramatically when looking ahead to Monday with things opening up considerably. So if you can get out on weekdays, it looks pretty good.

Just got this from Hidden Valley

Patrons and Guests of Hidden Valley Golf Club,

We will be opening back up starting tomorrow, Sunday, 3/22/2020. We will be putting 1 player in each cart. It will be a first come first serve basis. We will be honoring existing reservations made. You will be able to book online as well as a single player. If you or your group wants to play then have your other players book as a single for the same tee time. Due to the reservations already booked and the guests who will be walking on we will need customers to bare with us in regards to getting guests on the course. There is not a guarantee if you walk on/walk in that you will be able to play. Thank you all for your understanding.
