Have you ever played golf in bad weather? Bad weather not only affects the course but also the game. Learn more: https://www.dte.golf/blog/climate-and-course-conditions

Weather report said 17mph winds with 35 mph gusts @ Riviera when they delayed the 3rd round today.

Would be a better than average day @ Desert Dunes...

The goal has always been long and straight! But since I can no longer hit them long, hopefully straighter could be achieved more than occasionally?

Played Eagle Hills golf course in Eagle Idaho January 14, 2021. The temperature was 33 degrees, and the tee boxes were very hard which tees would not penetrate. Layered up in warm layers to fight the cold and the 9 mile per hour wind that was pretty chilly. It was my first round in 7 month’s and played 9 holes, but still shot a 48. The cold and wind made for a challenging round, but it was still very enjoyable! I learned at the clubhouse after the round that they have rubberized tee that comes in different sizes. The tees are reusable and work very well.

Challenging round but fun and a learning experience to play in very cold weather!
