Would be a better than average day @ Desert Dunes... ![]() The goal has always been long and straight! But since I can no longer hit them long, hopefully straighter could be achieved more than occasionally? |

The temperature was 33 degrees, and the tee boxes were very hard which tees would not penetrate. Layered up in warm layers to fight the cold and the 9 mile per hour wind that was pretty chilly. It was my first round in 7 month’s and played 9 holes, but still shot a 48. The cold and wind made for a challenging round, but it was still very enjoyable! I learned at the clubhouse after the round that they have rubberized tee that comes in different sizes. The tees are reusable and work very well.Challenging round but fun and a learning experience to play in very cold weather! Tootall [[Edited by Tootall on Saturday February 20, 2021 7:45 PM]] ![]() |
