So last week, Friday, I was asked by the cashier at Hansen Dam if I had a player card and/or a senior card, I said no, and he ended up selling me a senior/player card for $25. Discount for greens fee is nice, but what I was really excited about was the "Book Tee Times 9 Days in Advance" and I thought for sure I'd find a nice tee time for at least an 11:00am for a weekend 9 days from today so I checked this morning and it was the same old thing. 3:40ish was the earliest times I could find!

Do any of you have a player's card- how do you do it- do you call or logon for tee times... what time do you call or logon?

Noel: I've had a senior playing card for several years. It is a good deal. However, with the new reality of diminishing tee time availability, you have to be very early online to get a decent tee time. If you log into your account and are online and ready to select a tee time right at 6:00am, 9 days before the day you want to play, you can usually get a morning time. Every time I've been logged on right at 6:00am, I've been able to get a morning time. What I do is log on around 5:57am. Then I keep trying to get a tee time on the day I want (9 days future). The system won't let you select a time 9 days in the future until it hits 6:00am. But this way, I usually get in as early as possible. You might have to keep trying to get different tee times while on the site, because they will get taken by others right out from under you. But keep at it, you will get a time.

Thanks, Mdames. I appreciate your information and I will try your technique.

If you haven't played grifith recently, I just want to add that the current conditions are great! I played it last saturday and sunday both the wilson and harding.

What was the rate for Sat or Sun play? I know you cannot use the Sr card for weekends.

Actually, there are Senior rates after 12:00 on most of the LA City courses on weekends and holidays, but not Rancho or Wilson.

This morning, I was ready before 6am and I did a tee time search for 2 golfers at Harding and Wilson and as soon as it was 6am I started to click search. At 6:00am the first available tee time was 2:50pm. WOW

Is there any group that has more than 9 day advance tee time availability?
