Played on Sep 21, 8am tee time. Pace of play was obviously good due to midweek morning time. Course was in expected condition. Nice layout. Good thinkers course due to layout of holes. You can't just tee it high and let it fly. Don't think it's worth $80 for a weekday or $100 for the weekend. It's a little more challenging than Rustic, but not $40 bucks more!

Played it today for the first time. It was a little tighter than expected. Fairways are mostly generous but miss the fairway and your ball will be gone. There's very little margin for error anywhere on the course. The condition was very good. Pace of play was very slow due to the difficulty of the course. Overall it's a very good course but I'm not sure it meets the hype it has been given.

This course definitely seems a good bit easier the second time around, but it also seems like it's always going to be a good challenge. It's a really solid layout that uses the existing terrain to create angles and interesting lies. The course is in good condition right now although the rough is just on the verge of going dormant and so is rather spongy, thin, and clumpy. Thankfully, the fairways are pretty generous. I particularly like the way the course is bunkered, and the good mix of par 3's (one quite short, one fairly long, all well-thought out) and the mix of par 5's, too. The greens remain quite firm but should soften up by next year and it'll be easier to attack pins.

Layout is great and the course is in excellent condition. Greens can be firm but fair. Overall, a very fun course to play with a number of interesting holes and a few risk/reward type holes.

This is a very beautiful course. It was a nice addition to our community, and for those of us that are golfers, it was nice to have a more challenging course in the home town.

Played 9/18. Echo most of the comments about the playing conditions and service. Nice layout too but not as much character or tranquility as Robinson Ranch or Lost Canyons. The course seemed very walkable and when I asked why they didn’t allow walking I was told it’s because they don’t want people walking through the environmentally sensitive areas. I don’t get it, why not just ask golfers not to or have a marshal enforce it. I found that most people who walk are more respectful of those sorts of things anyway. My guess is it has more to do with cart revenue and pace of play. All things considered, this is a great course and I’ll be back. That is if they don’t jack the rates up once the clubhouse is built.

Angeles made me feel like they actually care about my golfing! The staff was great, the course is incredible, the GPS is the way to go if you are going to have GPS (Full color display of the hole) and the Pace of Play was really good. They even announced they were aerifying the greens and had a preferred rate during the aerification recovery time. They cared and it showed. That is where I want to spend my golfing dollar. They have won me over! I am already making my reservations for Thanksgiving
