Played thursday 3/2/06 at 2;00 p.m. Being weekday twilight ,pace of play was good. Typical local neighbor golf course. Greens are firm never hold the shots nor approach. You have to calculate the bounce & roll. Many bare spots on fairways & divot marks on tee boxes.

If they stick to the basics they'll be surprised at what the course will be.

If they managed pace of play so rounds took no more than 4 hours, they could make a whole lot more money. The course is a good bargain. They have some real good holes.

For the money, $28 walking on weekends, this course is a bargain. From the back tees, it plays 6804 yards, one of the tougher layouts lengthwise in LA County. Fairways are decent, not perfect, and greens are very good, rolls are smooth and true. Also, a new course superintendent was hired a few months ago and is making visible improvements. The one problem is pace of play. The course management doesn't do anything, literally, to manage pace of play. So, 5+ hour rounds are common.

This is a links course. Overall this is a great course for the money.

Played 12/23. Course in okay shape. Greens in decent condition as usual, hard but relatively smooth and quick. Fairways okay but thin in many spots. Tee boxes very thin, lots of damage. Traps were light on sand. Pace was okay for the day. Played w/ my 10 year old, so that's always a good day.

Pretty good for a county course. The greens can be interesting, and the pace of play can be dismal, but you get what you pay for.
