I agree with the last post. Greens are best part about this course. They were in very nice condition, medium pace, holding well. Played for first time on Monday. Started mid-morning and took 4 hr 40 min -- a little long, but not terrible. Rest of course was in various condition, ranging from extremely dry rough to patchy fairways. Looks like the greens are getting all of the water. That said, I'd play again when I get tired of other tracks like Costa Mesa.

Played on 11/13, greens had no more sign of aeration. Fairways were pretty bare in some spots. Overall fair conditions for this course.

Played RSJ on 11/2/04: The course is in great shape. Real green and lush for a public course. The rains turned everything an emerald green. The putting surfaces still show signs of being punched about a month ago. The greens have little damage from ball marks but are a bit bumpy from the aeration. The greens are soft and is easy to hold the greens. Could use a good rolling and drying out and they should be putting real fast soon.

Played the course at 1:30 pm and finished at 5:00 pm. Played as a twosome and had noone in front of me. It was a tuesday afternoon.

Course now in very good condition. Teeboxes being worked on, about time. Enjoyed my round, a little slow but fun. I'll be back!

played here 9/22 and was surprised by good conditions. Starter let us go out early to get ahead of large group so the course was wide open all day for a 4 hr round. Tees were in good shape as were fairways and greens which had very few ball marks for a change. Rough was long and thick making it difficult to find balls sometimes and the bunkers appeared more dirt than sand. Also course is fairly interesting mix of holes.

played Sunday, 9/5... The course has become a full-fledge golf course. The greens are great and the sand is raked. The fairways are carved and manicured. They are actually fixing some teeboxes, which means they are still improving. The pace of play was good, since it hasn't been crowded in a while.

We had a great time. Pace of play was fine. A nice open course where it was easy to score.
