This course is rough around the edges, but the greens make it worth the rate. Many of the greens are extremely sloped. Some with "toilet bowls" in the middlge. Challenging, but not gimmicky like Aliso Viejo. Nothing fancy. Old fashioned muni golf.

The course has a lot thin spots on the fairways but the greens were in great shape and running about a “10”. I noticed quite a few men working on the course so things should start getting better. The senior rate was $38.00 with a cart. The driving range could use some new balls.

This course has been severely criticized in past reviews, fairly or not. Today was excellent. Good pace, greens were remarkably smooth with only minor ball marks. True, the fairways are thin in spots, the rough too short. Overall, with a discounted green fee via the internet, a cart, good weather & company, added up to a value hard to match elsewhere in Orange County. Hope a return visit will be as good.

Due to so many mornings being so cold this courses' fairways are very thin, yellow, and with lots of divot damage. This winter especially, the grass has gone dormant. However, the greens were in good shape. To me that is the most important thing. You must keep the ball below the hole on many holes. There is severe ( 15th is unfair) slope from back to front on many greens. The layout is easy. Just beware of some water and OB. You must bring a good short game to this course unless you can knock it close every time.

First time I played the course. Due to being an AGPA member the fee was OK. The fairways had some brown spots, but the greens were good.

Considering the course is on a landfill, I thought the course was in superb condition. Pace of play could be improved.
