Played on Sat. 2/7. Greens on back 9 was lightly aerated but heavily sanded. Found out about it only when we got to the 10th green - there were no other notices...Greens were still in great shape just a couple of weeks ago, so I don't understand the necessity of aeration and sanding. All tee boxes, fairways, rough and front 9 greens still in good shape.

Canyons 9 was closed due to maintenance, but the course offered discount rates to make up for it. The greens were quick and pretty true, fairways were good for winter. Play was pretty slow, and it can get a little jammed up coming around because of players teeing off the first hole (since they only have 9 holes in play). The course would benefit from a marshal to move slower groups along.

Pace of play continues to be slow during weekends, expect 5 hour rounds minimum. Overall condition of course is great. Fairways are green and lush. Greens are also in good condition.

Nice weather, great course, nice people. The one thing that was a little upsetting and I mean a little, was their score card, yardage book, and the tee box plaque had different yardages. We let them know and they said they would check into it.

The course was in decent shape. The pace was a little slow, but not bad. The Greens were pretty good in most spots. I will be back.

A few weeks ago a notice on the club house door state "car path only- no exceptions". My friend who has a medical condition requested a "medical flag" in order to drive to his ball. He was told "sorry no exceptions". To my knowledge this is the only course in California that will not accommodate people with medical contions.
Evidently management is not aware of the American Disability Act or California's rules & regulations pertaining to accommadating the handicapped.

Great visuals and well laid out but I guess not enough help. I took a chunk out of my 60 degree Vokey because there was huge (I couldn't dig it out) cement block buired in a greenside trap. Our local said it wasn't the first time he had seen that! The SF Valley courses at $22.00 are in better condition. If they fix it up I would love to play it again.
