my men's club plays 12 away tournaments per year. This is the most expensive and by far the worst course of all 12. Worst condition of any course I've played in southern California. I would not play again. If you choose to play, only play in July/August as this course is incapable of draining water.

One customer had his dog running beside him. I commented to the pro shop and asked if it was normal and he said "It's not a problem." Also one other lose dog ran across fairway. On #9 somebody had his TV set up on the back fence and blaring with no one around watching it. Also someone was firing a pellet gun and it appeared that they could see us because of when the gun went off, ie, middle of the backswing.

Played in a tournament on Fri 19th, while fairways were green and plush in many spots, they were equally washed out or dead in others. All low lying areas soaked or mudded, as this course does not drain it only gets worse thru the winter. I would avoid until june or july when it will finally dry out and they get a chance to replace the grass that washes away!

The fairways needed mowing and the greens were mushy. To call this place a Country Club is a joke.

Played 9-19 in monthly club tournament. The whole course needed to be mowed. Fairways very long, sometimes felt like rough, plus no run on drives. Greens very wet and soft, felt like you were sinking. Tee boxes needed to me cut down also. "Grass" range very raggedy. At 56.00 with cart, way too much for a standard, at best, muni course. Luckily weather was okay, and played in just under 4 hours. Would not drive out to course again.

Course was not in great shape. I should of waited for an opening at Indian Hills. Fairways were not cut at all, I thought the idea of hitting the ball straight down the middle was for a rewarding approach shot. Obviously not!!! Front nine needs some work. The back nine was in better condition, greens were perfect. Overall course needs some work though. I will not go back!

Curiously empty for Sunday morning. Teamed up with 1scgolfer and lost to the other twosome because he three jacked 18. I still like the course because of the tricky greens but today, not so good.

Course is finally recovering from winter. Mowing is proceeding and they seem to be trying to firm up the greens. Fwys are wide, mowed: there is a discernable rough, and only a few fwys still have bare spots, the usual ones they always have problems with. To me, overall course condition depends on how they maintain greens. Today they were firmer and a bit faster than usual, which is a good trend. If they can keep the bumps out and keep em firmed up, I can overlook the fact that there's 3 different types of grass in the greens. When they open up their expanded driving range, that'll be another plus for the overall experience of being there.
