1/18/25 - 9:12 Tee Time. 3 groups ahead on the first tee box at 9:12 so not a great start. The starter was friendly and apologized due to a corporate group being slow off the first tee. Get to the second hole. 3 groups on the tee! Copy and Paste for the next 5 holes! Just brutal POP. 3hr front nine and 2:30 back nine. It's just unacceptable for a place with $177 green fees. OK RANT OVER

Conditions were pretty good overall. I had not played here since COVID and them doubling their green fee's from the $90 range to the 170-190 (dynamic price). Fairways were Bermuda dormant but played really nice. The Rough was an emerald green rye grass cut to about 1-2 inchs. Sand has always been a problem here but a few of the traps had very soft sand so maybe they are Finally figuring out that people want sand in the traps. The horseshoe trap around hole 6 still has very little sand. Greens were very nice, a touch on the firm side but held most shots and allowed spin. They rolled at a medium pace and were smooth.

Nice carts with GPS and speakers. No Beverage cart but the original halfway house (now on 12 after the layout change) Was open and the waitress was very friendly. IMO it's worth a play once in your life but for $177 and a 5+hr POP I will not be returning anytime soon unless a great deal is found.
