Late review, was headed to Vegas two weeks ago and the weather was supposed to be cold and miserable. Decided to drive to Laughlin and play everything in the area.
It rained all day until 3:00pm. Got out here when it stopped, and it was the only day without wind. One person works the bar, restaurant, and proshop. There seemed to be a miscommunication with the price, it was $45 for 18 and $35 for nine she charged me $35 and I thought she was just being nice. I was still surprised by the price. The course was dormant but surprisingly very dry, except for the areas outside the rough which seem to be red clay. I liked the setting, the mountains had snow on them which I assume is rare. The course is a flat links style layout with a handful of interesting holes. Not too difficult, the tips are 7100 yards so maybe from there. The course drained well and I didn't have any bad lies in the dormant fairways, bunkers were fine but wet and the greens were spotty, bumpy and medium to slow in speed. After 9 holes the other employee was waiting for me to chase me off the course. I told him about the miscommunication and offered to pay the $10 difference and he just seemed to let it go and told me where the tenth tee was. It was strange. I liked the course but it struck me as a maximum $50 course when in good shape and on a nice day
