Walked West Seattle this morning and enjoyed it quite a bit. I've been meaning to get back out here as it has been a few years, and I'm not sure why I've waited this long. Conditions were pretty good all the way around, even though it was a bit on the cold side with about a 1 club wind that was coming and going. The greens rolled pretty well at a medium quick pace, with a few bumps here and there. Well struck shots would hold, longer clubs for me released a bit. Fairways gave decent roll out, and really nice lies to hit from (except from the old divot I found on my best drive of the day on #9). Rough isn't very long (but still nice and healthy) and not very penalizing. I found the greenside bunker on 16 and it had a good layer of quality sand. Tee boxes had just been punched, but that didn't bother me as you're putting your ball on a tee so I'm happy they're keeping them healthy. I had found a tee time for a single at 8:37, and the guys in the shop bumped me forward to join the twosome that went off at 8:30, and we got around in a solid 4 hours, with the slowish group in front of us letting us play through at the turn. Got a decent lunch in the restaurant afterwards, and experienced really solid customer service everywhere. Definitely need to get this place back in the rotation.
