Played on 7-19-24 at 12:50pm. Got to the course early and headed over to the range to get a good warmup for the round. The practice facility was in great shape. Range is on grass and you are hitting Taylormade TP5x balls at the range (even better since I play those balls) the short game area was also in great shape. Spent about an hour and a half at the range before the round. My daughter was with me in a non playing capacity for this round, but they let her hit at the range with me and use the short game facility also. We checked in at the pro shop and the people working there could not have been nicer. Went to the practice green for about 15 minutes of putting before the round.

I was playing as a single and had been put with a group of 3 players from the Atlanta area. They had caddies for the round, nut since I was taking a cart because my daughter was with me I did not have a caddy. Pebble is cart path only, so that made the round a little more difficult, but I still played very well.

Course conditions

The course was in amazing condition. The tee boxes (I played from the tips) were in excellent shape, fairways were also in great shape. The greens were running about an 11.5 and like everything else at Pebble were maintained and smooth. Hole 6 green had just reopened that that day after a restoration it had been under for several months.

Even though I did not have a caddy for this round, the caddies in our group were very friendly and would talk about the course history and their experiences at Pebble Beach. They even let my daughter putt on the 18th hole because she wanted to experience putting on the 18th hole (we were there back in July 2023 for the Women's US Open).

All in all, it was an incredible day from start to finish, everyone we met was amazing. The staff were so kind and spent a lot of time making sure our day was truly enjoyable (they also tried to make my daughter feel special even though she wasn't playing) The weather was picture perfect (my daughter called it "Post Card" weather.

It had been 24 years since I played Pebble, but I can say it will not be that long before I play again.
