Played Monterey Pines yesterday for the first time in over 2 years. Course is excellent shape, tee to green. Prices have gone up, so it's a bit expensive for a short course (Par 69) but the conditions will not disappoint.

Greens rolled nice and smooth at a medium-fast pace against the grain and super fast with the grain. Greens were a little on the firm side but well struck approach shots held well. Especially with short irons or wedges in hand which is often the case here.

Fairways were awesome. Only a few dead spots on the entire course prevented me from rating the fairways a 9. They were super lush and emerald green throughout.

Tee boxes were flat with good coverage, even on the short par 3's. High quality sand in the bunkers. This course is short on length but long on conditions. Easily walkable with only a couple of holes having slight elevation.

A fun track for sure and still worth the price even if it has gone up considerably in the last few years.
