Tough to find courses with reasonable rates, but fortunately Brookside still provides great rates for seniors. Wanted to play the #1 course, but ended up on #2, which turned out to be just fine as the... Continue »

3 words - DON'T GO LONG! 30 yards short is better than 3 feet long here. Horrendous green that uphill putts will easily roll back to your feet from. Also, anything left funnels down into a low spot that is 3 putt territory minimum. Any 2 putt on this green should be viewed as a major victory and 3 putts are no shame either.

Fairly straightforward closing hole off the tee - the trap on your left is really not in play even from the blues. Firing right over it leaves you in the meat of the fairway with the best line to the green. Right off the tee leaves you with a trickier 2nd.
Again, the green is wide but not very deep and is well bunkered. Green slopes from front to back and there is OB behind and to the left.
