Pace of play was great this saturday morning- we were done in 2:40. A couple of the greens were recovering from being punched but one actually laid out a track straight to the pin. I come here with my 8 year old son, he likes the challenge. But why do the lakes look so dirty? Great internet price!

Played the course 3/2 after about 6 months. It was as I expected; a no frills facility with an above average executive course. The course was in good condition for the amount of golf played here. The greens, while not perfect, are surprisingly receptive. Hey, at $21, you cannot beat the value!

I first played this course on 2/11/07 in the rain at around 8:30am. Shot one of the better rounds of my life. The rain didn't seem to affect the course in any way. Solid playability, nicely paced greens and fairways.
I played the next sunday (2/18) and what a difference. It seems that the grounds crew waters some areas quite a bit, and other areas not at all. Some mud in the fairways, but all in all still a good course.

Fairways are being punched and fertilized this week. Obviously that affects your play and scores, not for the better in most cases. Almost impossible to make clean chip shots under this condition, but hopely this maintenance will yield in lush and green condition in spring time. Nevertheless, it's always fun to come out here and enjoy the company you're with.

At times staff is late opening up course first thing in the morning. They used to turn the lights on at 5:30 a.m. but quit doing so when Gray Davis was in office.

Could not find any deals elsewhere so decided to play here for $22 and was pleasantly surprised by the pace of play 4.5 hrs on a Sunday afternoon. Also the greens were as good as I've ever seen them here; a little long and slow but very few ball marks and no bare spots. Tee boxes were all being re-seeded and worked on so hard to complain. Fairways are thin and need work but for an executive course that gets as much play as this one they have done a good job of keeping it in decent condition.
