played MS classic on 4/14. It was terrible. The greens are slow and bumpy, perhaps the worst greens in O.C. It seems they spent some money revamping their bunkers. They would have been better off fixing their greens. I felt more penalized hitting the green in regulation, than landing in a bunker. Plus I had a better chance of sinking the shot from the bunker, then making a putt.

Greens rating really isn't indicative of the potential; they'd just punched them two days ago. Which, as a walk on, I chose the play the Classic over The Players: THERE WAS NOBODY ON THE CLASSIC COURSE! Walked with three others, sometimes hit two balls each, and we still finished in four hours. We were literally the only people on the classic. We chuckled at all the groups waiting on the tees on The Players. Even though just punched, the greens weren't too bumpy. Fairways were green, yet fuzzy. I imagine they keep them a little long due to all the traffic this course usually gets. $30 to walk; I wouldn't hesitate to play it again.

played this course becuse of feeback and rating instead of players. pretty boring until back meets players side.just like it says"classic", up one average fairway and down the next.

Tee boxes and bunkers in good shape. Rough and fairways a little thin, typical in the winter. Greens are bumpy. I play here at least once per month and while it is typical for the greens to get a little bumpy in the winter this is the worst I have ever seen it. Come April the greens will probably be smooth again. It is a good course for the money.

This a nice course to play. The back nine is in better shape than the front (especially 14-17). Overall conditions are OK. The greens are not the best with many bare spots and don't roll true often. The fairways are good with some not so good spots, but not terrible. The pace of play for early Sat. morning was good at less than 4 hours. And the starters get you on the tee ASAP. I recomend the course to anyone who wants a good day of golf!

I played this course for the first time last week and enjoyed it. I was disappointed with the greens though. After practicing on the great practice green, the rest were not anywhere as good. There were many areas of blotchy grass and bareness that made it difficult to keep the ball online.

The back nine was much better than the front since it is played mostly on the newer section of the course.

You need to keep it in the fairway or take a chance of being blocked by trees on most holes (unfortunately I was blocked a few times).

The pace of play was great (just around 4 hrs) and I only waited about 30 mins Sat. early morning walking on.
