6/30/26- First off in the morning and not a sole around. My father in-law and I whipped through this course in just over 3hrs, and we took our time. When we showed up no one was here. We checked in got a bucket and were off. Carts ran good, bathrooms on the course were very clean, there was no water yet, probably because no one was there...except us. Right now this course is in major summer heat mode. The tee boxes were in good shape, the fairways were a little thick and the rough was very rough. The humidity creates this problem according to the starter, and they don't cut too much of it until it cools down. The sand was at times ok, but some new sand will be needed when they turn this course around in the fall. The greens overall were in good shape, a little dry but not lighting quick. I saw only one hole (18) with a large dead spot. Overall, for 50$ I found the price to be ideal. I really like the layout here, and I will come back out to play when conditions are cooler. If you can bare the heat and often the humidity or you love to squeeze in those rounds prior to 10:00AM then I recommend playing Desert Falls CC.
