ALERT: Private Course Pending Maintenance
At this time Greenskeeper.org does not monitor - Private Courses - for maintenance alerts. However, during times of the year when its likely a private course will be doing maintenance rather than post a GREEN (no maintenance) alert status we feel it is more accurate to post a WHITE (pending maintenance) alert status.
* We ask that you please contact this private golf course for maintenance information before playing.

The 18th at Red Hill CC is a challenging, yet mutually rewarding hole at the same time. It requires a strong Tee Shot as you are going uphill towards the clubhouse with a view that reminds me of #9 at Riviera CC. Hitting a power fade will land you on the down slope to add an extra 25 yards to your Tee Shot. Short of the hill, and it may roll back down towards your feet. Once you’re up the hill, the fun really starts as the approach shot is still uphill with a slight dogleg right and long way depending on your drive as your staring at the clubhouse. Truly a Great Finishing Hole designed by the Captain, George C. Thomas.

Well, what can I say. This is one of those holes where you don't want to own the tee box, especially if it's a windy day. The tee shot is all about distance control and it's nice to see a shot prior to hitting yours to get some depth perception. Avoid going long at all cost or you'll face a quick downhill putt or chip. Just hit the green, two putt and move on.
