Played Barona Creed today 5/4/11. I LOVE this golf course. If it weren't so darn expensive I would play there all the time! The course was in perfect condition. Everything about it was great. We played in under 4 hours today and never had to wait on a shot. The greens were smooth and held their line perfectly. This course has the feel of a private course. It's just a treat to get out there and play. The holes flow perfectly through the valley. Not only is the course great but so is their practice facility. I spend quite a bit of time before the round on the chipping green and I think that helped quite a bit today. I can't wait to get back out there on Monday for my tournament! If you haven't played here, do yourself a favor and make the trip. You won't be sorry.

Best bang for your buck in San Diego with an early twilight and a free casino player's club card. Great service. Saw the cart girl about 4 times that day. Like others have said before me....greens are fast.

Played yesterday morning and was able to walk on no problem. There was quite a bit of fog when I started so it was hard to see your line and where you ball was going. The greens were fantastic. They were very smooth and fast. When I started there was still some moisture on them slowing them down a bit but by the end of the round they were rolling very quickly. For the most part the fairways were good but there were a couple some of the fairways had yellow patches in them. I really don't think this affected the play, just more eye candy than anything. The fairway rough was not penalizing but around the green it was a little more thicker. Found a couple of bunkers and the sand was very good too. Also the high grass was cut down so as long as you weren't in the environmental stuff you probably could find your ball.

I've always like this place. For the discount you get with the casino card makes playing here worth it sometimes that's why I said 50/50 on the fee. Customer service was great and since I was by myself I finish pretty quickly.

Played on Monday at twilight (which starts at 11 AM). I actually teed off at about 12:45 and zipped through the first 9 holes. Ran into a bunch of people starting on 10 and actually I played through 2 5 somes and was waiting for another 5 some in front of me. Kind of weird to have 3 of them back to back to back. Still finished in about 3 1/2 hours. I loved the conditions. The rough was green and thick. A couple of times hit in there it was kinda hard to find my ball. Fairways were nice and tight. Greens were their usual fast pace although I thought there were pretty soft. I think they water the greens quite a bit. Few ball marks on the greens which some people need to repair. Sand was great quality. Cart girl came by probably half a dozen times. Great time to play and it was only $64 with the players club card for a weekday twlight. Hopefully can get back out here soon.

Able to get out as a single last Sunday morning. Hit a few balls on the range before proceeding out. Great range, grass tees. Big putting green and a chipping green too. Thought everything was in great shape. Greens rolled smooth but not really too fast, I thought they rolled true. The only problem I have is that there were inconsistencies in the sand trap. I found some to be fluffy and some to be wet. Saw the cart girl a couple of times. I was able to finish in about 3 1/2 hours but could have finished a lot earlier but I hit a couple of balls on several holes.

Called this morning and able to get out no problem. The guy in the pro shop told me I could go whenever I wanted but that there were some bigger groups coming so I hit a handful of balls and went out (note the practice green was sanded and doesn't reflect the actual greens). I went out as a single and had a two some behind me and another single 3 holes in front of me. I just took my time and played multiple shots on some holes, etc. The greens were excellent, fast and rolled true (green #9 and #15 had the small holes punched in them but they were still pretty fast). Fairways were excellent as well, cut very nicely. Oh man was the area off the fairway really thick and tall. After my brush in with a rattler last time here I didn't bother going in there. I was in quite a few sand traps and all of them were great quality sand. Great experience best of all they charged me the normal weekday rate of $96 (with the Barona card) so it made it all worth it. I'm going to try and get back out here before things start to really dry out here.

Played Tuesday the 11th. Monday they played a US open qualifier, and left the pins in the same location on Tuesday. Boy what a treat. The greens are so nice it was pure heaven.......

Played on April 7th & 8th with a friend for his birthday. Great course ! Very fun and in great condition. The service at the hotel and on the course was excellent... The greens were recently punched but rolled very fast and smooth, the best punched greens I have ever played on !
