Played River Birch Thursday, had two tee times at 12:50 and 1pm the weather was cooler but nice at times when the sun came out. Staff are always friendly and helpful got our two groups out right on time though the course was very busy. The course had some extensive work done, the tee boxes had been worked on the grass was lusher and sanded again allowing tees to go in the ground much easier. The fairways allowed for great roll for good drives, the rough slightly lusher and the greens showed the biggest improvement. The greens were much smoother and rolled just as fast maybe a little faster. Was not in the sand traps but they looked reasonably good.

Overall a great round and very enjoyable! I’m joining a group that plays every Monday so will have tips as I get to know the course better! Playing Timberstone Golf Course Thursday for the first time, looking forward to it, though the weather is expected to be in the high 30’s low 40’s.
