Soule Park Golf Course has won the Greenskeeper.org "Most Worth The Green Fee" award for all of Southern California the last two years (2022 & 2023). September morning weather in Ojai is projected in the low 70's warming up to low 80's. The course is always kept in great shape. Come enjoy this exceptional experience with your friends with Greenskeeper.org and the Southern California Facebook Golf Community.

Everyone at check-in will have an opportunity to pick a goodie provided by our outing sponsors Linksoul, Golf Moose or OnCore Golf Balls. There will also be GK SWAG at the event as goodies or to purchase.

During play there will be closest to the pin contests on all par 3's and a long drive contest on two par 5's.

Sit down after play in the restaurant for food, drink, contest winners, raffle grand prize and good times!

Come out to Greenskeeper.org’s 20th Year Birthday Party/Golf!

Hosted at our GK Plays amazing sponsor Linksoul’s course... “The Goat” – Goat Hill Park Golf Course.

Every year since reopening the course and facilities get better and better. The course is in its best shape for their main annual event The Wishbone Brawl. This year it’s on November 19th featuring pros Charely Hoffman, Xander Schauffele, Dean Willson and JohnnyGK … I mean Chris Riley. We’ll be playing just 15 days after that so expect great conditions on this very challenging fun short track.

At GK’s big 10th birthday we did a bonanza of closest-to-the-pin contests. Sticking with tradition all eight par 3’s at The Goat will be prize holes! Plus we’ll be doing a long drive contest on the par 5, #15. Half the holes, prize holes, not bad!

Party it up on Goat Hill’s Lud’s patio-bar. Music, fire pit, hot dogs (veggie available), chips, non-alcoholic drinks for all players. Beers and other drinks available for purchase. As always we’ll have a big raffle where everyone wins a fantastic prize sponsored by Linksoul, Golf Moose, OnCore Golf Balls or donated by GKers. Pluse a putting contest and some surprises!

Wow, 20 years, looking very forward to this. Love our GK Community.

Greenskeeper.org has teamed up with Golf Moose to put on private course outings here in Southern California. They are basically member for the day experiences much like you may have experienced with SCGA private course outings. The first outing I posted for Wood Ranch GC is about to sell out already and

The Saticoy Club as long been known for their exceptional challenging layout, smooth-slick greens and beautiful scenery. The golf course will be in fantastic shape as always in early October. This is a rare opportunity to experience The Saticoy Club.

Golf Moose Private Outing Greenskeeper.org [VIEW]

Greenskeeper.org has teamed up with Golf Moose to put on private course outings here in Southern California like Golf Moose has been successfully doing in NorCal. They are basically member for the day experiences much like you may have experienced with SCGA private course outings. However I’m going to be hosting them and involved in organizing. What is also cool is Greenskeeper.org has exclusive early registration a couple days prior to releases - So Jump In!.

The first San Diego outing is going to be Monday, September 20th at Morgan Run Resort (private) in Rancho Santa Fe.

Looking to establish our Golf Moose/GK Private Course outings in the San Diego region. Talked to a lot of courses in the area and decided to go with Morgan Run because of the much improved playing conditions and great rate provided. These outings are a blast having sold out two already. We are playing their best 18 holes combo (North/South). I’m doing a fun Closest To The Pin Contest on their signature Par 3 for a great prize (TBD). The resort rate is $150 and member guest rate $100 so our $75 is an excellent value. San Diego weather in September is outstanding. Plus with many golf courses in the area aerating the greens that time of year it will be pleasure to play a private course in excellent condition. Please join me. We need a big showing in order to more easily line up more private course outings in the San Diego area. Thanks!

Hi Everyone, the outing is still on!

Rams Hill Golf Club is allowing me until Thursday afternoon 3:00pm to submit to them a revised final count so if you want to cancel I can give you a full store credit up until Thursday 3:00pm 12/10.

It has to be run different due to the recently issued Stay at Home Order…

We cannot gather afterwards for drink/food and our prize giveaways. In fact all food & drink has to be take out. There will be no on course drink/food service however the snack shack will be open at the turn. You can order BBQ that comes with the outing prior to play and consume it the golf course. If you want to order something else of the menu you still can but it will need to be take out. Instead of the raffle everyone will get a small and big prize prior to play. We’ll still have our closest to the pin and longest drive contests. The winners will get a small prize after play.
You must wear a mask at all times in common areas and on the first tee.

I’m not sure if it will be single cart riding. I’ll have more information hopefully soon about that. My guess is yes and if not you’ll be able to request a single cart.

I’ll need to adjust the pairings a little as I get a better idea of who is still coming.

We have a beautiful weather forecast for Sunday. I’m excited to make this special for everyone even though we have to adjust the experience.

Outing Canceled Rain Out



Lets all give a thumbs up to Enagic Golf Club at Eastlake...

They gave me the option to reschedule so the outing is canceled for tomorrow.

That was good revenue on the books for them on a day not many are showing up to play. They were totally cool completely more concerned about our enjoyment than their cash register.

Everyone will get refund and/or store credit depending how you purchased it. Give me and Vic some time on how to sort that out. But rest assured we got you covered.

This might be the first outing I've ever had to cancel due to rain. That sucks but we'll make it up.

- Welcoming a new supporter of our GK Community, this is the comeback golf course of year in San Diego. A great amount of capital has been invested in improving the golf course conditions and layout. The golf course hosted the return of the San Diego County Open on 10/13 – 10/15 and is a home of the Farmers Insurance Open Pre-Qualifying. Beautiful fun challenging design by architect Ted Robinson. I played the golf course back in July with fellow GKers, it was in great shape and a blast to play. Check out the photos and reviews. The rate for the outing is the same as the local rate of $75 (non-local rate $125) plus all the fun and prizes included as part of a GK Plays outing, this is a great deal. Currently sponsored by LINKSOUL and GOLFMOOSE – working on more prizes. I’ll have GK SWAG there as well. Come play!

* Update 10/21: The last heat wave burned out the majority of the fresh rye grass so the golf course is not going to be as lush as originally anticipated for our outing. However the fairways will still be good shape (not great) because they are predominately bermunda grass turf which does well in the heat.
