Played today at dawn as first off. Fantastic sunrise on Maui Nui. They refer to this as the poor man's golf club in Maui. That's as close as poor as it gets. Nice mixture of holes with elevation changes throughout. All bermuda so the rough is nasty. Good tee boxes. Traps all clean and playable. Fairways were damp on front 9 so good lies little roll. Back 9 they had dried out so now they rolled great. Greens are not overly large but undulating so they can be tricky. They all break to the ocean. Had good speed and chipped and putted well. Good service from the pro shop but the starter needs new employment. I told that to the pro in the shop . Hope he takes action on it. Reasonable rates and a great course to play. Recommended.
