Monday 25 Oct 1130 tee, 4 ball. With carts on path today due 2 inches of rain the last 3 days, this course was in remarkable shape; round time 4+20. Draining nicely, a little soggy on the fairways, and the sand almost drained, the greens were beautiful, holding and putting true; just a little slow.
NO run on any tee shot made the course play about 2 shots harder than normal. All other aspects of the course good. Lots of drinks cart passes. A good day. golfnow 'hotdeal' $31 riding. Coring of greens begins next week.

Maintenance is up to its usual high standard; all conditions lush and green. Soft, smooth, holding greens in great shape. Lots of drinks cart passes, good service and marshaling. Always a treat. Tuesday 11 May, 11:56 tee time foursome. Quite busy today with a tournament on the course but still only 4hrs 25 for the round. Maintenance is up to its usual high standard; all conditions lush and green. Soft, smooth, holding greens in great shape. Lots of drinks cart passes, good service and marshaling. Good challenge and long enough from any tee. Good deal.

Wednesday 3 Feb 11:45 tee 2 ball; very quiet with only another twosome ahead but a few fours behind. Paced at 3 hrs 30 min. Lots of rain lately and 4 holes were carts on paths; still a lot of runoff and casual water. Winter rules though so no dramas. Greens are in as good a shape as usual, very soft and holding well, a little bumpy and medium speed. Elsewhere, fairways were soft, rough damp to wet, sand was good, and the course did play long. Surprised to see as many drinks cart passes as we did for a quiet day; good. Enjoyed the layout and challenge as always. Golfnow 'hot deal' $31. Birdiebug a little cheaper. Enjoy.

Thursday, noon tee time, 3ball following 2 foursomes; lush conditions throughout the course. Watering targeted so there are some dry areas, but almost perfect presentation tee to green. Greens soft and holding, smooth but not fast. Fairways quick, and thin but green; rough 2-4 inches and lush. Sand very good; tees same.
Nice staff, good pace, lots of drinks cart passes, and a good challenge.

Played Rancho on Sunday. I always enjoy this layout, it has some fun holes and the par 3s are definitely the real deal from the blues. Just a fun course to play.

Time for my monthly rating. Nothing new to report.Course presenting very well, greens almost perfect, fairways, rough, sand, all in great shape. Tee boxes are getting lots of use and are slightly tired. Good pace discipline and nice marshalling/staff with good drinks cart attendance for a wednesday afternoon.
