After far too many days off from my game, got back out this past Sunday to La Mirada with a 10am tee time and played from the blue tees riding. Unfortunately my two friends who were scheduled to play ... Continue »

I would’ve written a review of this course but couldn’t get on. Why? Because the guy in the clubhouse mispronounced my last name twice when announcing it from the call sheet. My last name is Powell. All I heard was “Pauk”, which sounded to me like “Pak”, a common Asian name. Let’s just say this guy’...

Play up the left side off the tee as shots on the hill will feed right back to the fairway. Avoid the right side as not only can trees block your 2nd shot, but the area is riddled with roots. Short of the green is a valley and false front that tends to hold short approaches. Missing left a bit on your approach should kick towards the green and is the best side to miss on. Long right can kick to the practice green.

Bunker on the left is pretty short of the green, so shouldn't really be in play. Don't go long as there's not much room before you go over a hill towards 18"s fairway. Green slopes back to front.
