Played this AM. I have to say if your going to play here good luck if you don't start before 8 AM. And even then you can get chaos like we had this morning.The course IMO is poorly managed. The starter seems clueless in properly sending groups off and has no answers when asked why? It's like they have your money so just be quite and "enjoy" your round. Even the marshal is worthless IMO. He can clearly see that people are not staying up with the group in front of them but does nothing to move people along even after you complain to him. The condition of the course is just fine but its not enjoyable when you wait on every tee box for 10 to 15 minutes and groups stack up on the Par 3's. Tee boxes all playable. Fairways have good coverage and nice roll out, though some areas outside of some of the fairways are not watered (trying to save water I guess) and the ground is hard and you might end up in the hazard. So good fairway management is crucial. Traps are good and playable. Greens have been aerated but they all healed just fine. They have some firmness to them and chip/putt just great and hold nice high shots but will send the ball flying on those that are not. Sr rate is great with the County card $39.75 to ride and that includes the $10 reservation fee which is credited upon check in. LV is a difficult course w/o a doubt for good golfers and very difficult for the novice or not so good golfer. This should be taken into consideration by the marshals who can and should do a better job in managing the POP. And while you can't stop people from walking many should not be and not be so cheap and pay the $17.25 to ride. And there are many who should not be playing from the back tees either. A great course but the current management by American Golf is ruining a once great managed course by a great GM who many would know if I named him.
