Greens are coming back ok from aeration but some greens have patchy brown areas. Most likely will get worse than better because American Golf and the City of Long Beach are killing this course. Hopefully the rains on saturday will help a little otherwise a great layout.

play $19 twi light this afternoon in a fivesome group. tee off at exactly 2:00pm and finished only 14th at 6:30.

you can say "hi" to 2 groups infront of you and also 2 groups behind you on every par-3 hole, pretty good for making many friends and do conversations.

As this is my home track i am disgusted to see this course in such bad shape. The fairways have dirt patches and the greens are bumpy and ballmarks unrepaired or repaired the wrong way. Many peolpe feel that since Skylinks is close to reopening that the city of Long Beach & American Golf have forgotten about this course.

Looks like the greens have come back and are rolling good but still people fix your ball marks on the greens and maybe a couple others while your at it. They have put some sand in the bunkers and it's nicer than no sand. Fairways are good and the rough is up so wathch those crooked drives you will have to look carefully to find your ball. This meant a 5 1/2 hour round but it's still wotrh it.

Greens are in good shape. Pace was good 5 hrs. Fairways are ok.

Played here a couple of weeks ago - the greens here are just battered. Not sure what the problem is - heard that fungus may have hit the greens. Nevertheless, repairing divot marks on the greens is the bigger issue. Also, counted six dead crows when I played. West Nile Virus is in the El Dorado Park area so spray on your bug repellant.

Played 8/7, course in decent shape. Greens have softened a bit since the LB Open so they were very receptive. Tee boxes in good shape, a few were a little soggy. Fairways in decent shape.

El Dorado is dry and firm after the long beach open. The greens are firm and fast but with way tooo many unfixed mall marks and dirt/ brown spots. Does anyone fix a ball mark? Do people know that a correctly fixed ball mark should show no or little damage to the green. I would like to thank Greg Clark one of my playing partners for showing me how to fix a ball mark correctly a long time ago!!!! Greenskeeper is the sight that we belong to, we should all help maintain the visual and performance of the greens we play on!!!!!!! If you see dirt or brown on the green you did not fix the ball mark correctly, its simple and a common courteous gesture. Golf is a sport for gentleman/ladies. lets not forget. thanks

Ditto what last reviewer said. Played Saturday afternoon for $17 (res rate). Greens rock hard with some divot marks but overall roll pretty true.
