greens - pretty nice
fairways - pretty nice
tees - so, so - definitely some straight up bad tees.
traps - pretty nice.

The course is in excellent condition; the greens are smooth and fast. Played there on Sat. 1/21; expect windy conditions this time of year.

course in pretty good shape but too many tee times to stay on time. had 7:24 sunday morning,but didn't tee off till 8:00. talked to starter and was told they book early tee times before it gets light, but nobody tees off until it gets light. so first tee time is about 15 minutes late. was told they do it all the time. but course is fun.

Played the course last Tuesday (before the most recent storms). While the course was a lot more green and lush than it is during the summer months, portions of the course were suffering from overwatering. There were several areas under repair, presumably because of cart damage to oversaturated fairways. (On some holes, they definitely should have been allowing carts on the path only, but weren't, so I foresee more GUR in the near future.) Even where the ground wasn't under repair, it wasn't unusual to find mud on my ball after bouncing on the fairway. The greens played reasonably well, though there were a couple that seemed a little bumpy. Overall, the conditions were pretty good, but definitely could have been better with improved water management and cart restrictions where appropriate.

Course is in good shape, but over saturated in many fairways. High ball hitters will get a lot of mud stuck to their shots. Greens are somewhat fast and mostly true to line. The pace of play at Knollwood is horrible. They forever put fivesomes out and then most people do not play from the appropriate tee boxes to slow the pace even further.

Played sunday,12/4/05 morning. Amazingly surprised by their course conditions being green fee category of $40 & managed by american golf. Especially greens are in superb shape better than any other $100 fee courses.Very fast ,well receptive & beautifully manicured.Except some tee boxes beated up(mostly par 3) & some wet ,soaked fairways is unbelievable this course just charge $40 weekend.Just keep it up !
What a windy day was we considered 2 clubs even affected rolling ball on greens.
